Find out what Israeli restaurants to try in Pushkar. Pushkar (Hindi: पुष्कर) is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated about 10 km (6.2 mi) northwest of Ajmer and about 150 kilometres (93 mi) southwest of Jaipur. It is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Pushkar has many temples. Most of the temples and ghats in Pushkar are from the 18th century and later, because many temples were destroyed during Muslim conquests in the area. Subsequently, the destroyed temples were rebuilt. The most famous among Pushkar temples is the red spired Brahma Temple built during the 14th century CE. . It is considered a sacred city by the Hindus particularly in Shaktism, and meat and eggs consumption are forbidden in the city. Pushkar is located on the shore of Pushkar Lake, which has many ghats where pilgrims bathe. Pushkar is also significant for its Gurdwaras for Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh. One of the bathing ghats is called Gobind ghat built by the Marathas in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh.

The manager over there does not entertain Indian people out there,They do no like Indians coming over there and give importance to Firangis. We had gone twice to the cafe but both the times, the useless manager did not allow us to sit by giving us some weird excuses like the table is reserved and etc.We Indians should boycott such restaurants and they must be taught a lesson.
A beautiful cafe, rooftop restaurant situated next to the holy lake serving fresh and amazing food full of flavours ,from all around the world, remember to ask for chef special.

Pushkar, apart from being one of the holiest cities in India, is also full of tourists. In fact the entire city is based on tourism, both foreign and domestic. The restaurant scene is growing by "pizzas and Bask 'n Robbins!" This place has, over the past couple of years, made an effort to keep apace. Still a little dusty, still a little oily, still a little better than many others.
The leafy garden restaurant,100 mt from the Brahma Temple,is very popular with locals and tour groups. It has tastey Indian and continental cuisine, including lots of live tandoor options and rich and creamy curries, plus big garden.
Aahhh..!!I was thinking to write something fancy but then I realised - "good places and good people do not require fancy words."Well..from walking in the door and being greeted by the employees ( all time smiling & attentive) seated and food order taken...the meal was freshly cooked and excellent taste. Enjoyed our food with live Rajasthani folk performance. The one thing took my heart is the peaceful ambience and lavish food. Thank you Ms Deepika Singh for the beautiful evening. Will visit Mystic Lotus again!!Keep it up guys.Good luck!!

Where to eat Fast Food food in Pushkar: The Best Restaurants and Bars

From what I understand, Surej, the owner of the hotel and restaurant, is a wonderful, kind man who makes amazing food and is a good host. But that is not what you'll find right now at Mooche's/Budha Cafe. You will find average staff that are pleasant enough but don't treat you anything above average. You will find good food, but not with the love the owner has, and perhaps his food is better, I don't know. We stayed a week in a room upstairs. The room was cheap and big, but bathroom detestable. Smelled terrible all the time, the door was off the bottom hinge in the bathroom, flies were everywhere in the room, perhaps from the open windows. You cannot really shower in that bathroom. Also the road noise was pretty bad even though it's on a back street. I liked the size of the room, the price, and the windows, it wasn't a cave, but we left because of mediocre service from the staff (they kept turning off the wifi power and then the wifi quit working altogether,) the flies, and the road noise. It does not serve business well to keep changing the name of your restaurant, or rent it out and change the name. Or have this new restaurant manager also manage the rooms. We came here based on these TA reviews and asked about a room because of the amazing reviews. Until management changes back to the original owners, don't heed the past reviews.

If you are in Pushkar, don't miss Falafel Rolls at Pawan Restaurant. It is not a proper restaurant type, it is a fast food shop, with various options of tasty rolls.
