Things to do in Nazareth
We were recommended the Doron Baron cooking workshop by friends local to the area as a great way to have an off- the -beaten path experience in Israel We visited Doron Bar On at his lovely kitchen-workshop in the countryside with an extended family group touring IsraelWe were pleasantly surprised that the drive to the little village from Tel Aviv was not complicated at all, and took us a little less than an hour Doron and his wife greeted us with coffee and delightful fresh-baked cake and introduced us to the Yisrael Valley area. Next we went on a short tour of the village, collecting fresh produce from neighbouring farmers and a small local dairy. We then came back to Doron's kitchen and for a couple of hours all of were busy cooking great food, drinking local wine and just working together. We sat down to a great family meal that was actually cooked by us (with some help from Chef Doron, of course) with wonderful fresh ingredients that we picked from the garden outside. Altogether this was a great way to end a great visit
Comida deliciosa, ambiente bom, porém lotado e como não tinhamos reserva, precisamos jantar com tempo contado e em mesa pequena para tres pessoas.

A good place to visit when hot, if one wants a cool freshly-made fruit juice drink. The dining area is air conditioned and refreshing. The bathrooms were clean and free to use for customers. I had some pomegranate juice, refreshing.

Grumpy stopped here for lunch during a guided tour. The restaurant is clean and bright, a very comfortable place to have a meal. The salad appetizer was very tasty and the meal consisted of plates of rice, salad, meats, and vegetables, all of which were delicious. The service was excellent. Actually, everything was excellent about this restaurant. He will be bringing The Old Lady here if we return.

This is a family-owned business that has been around since 1968 or something like that. This guy made falafel like a boss. Perfectly cooked, moist, with all the best fixins. We would have eaten there every day if we had stayed longer. It is located in the main plaza right before you get to St. Gabriel's Church.

The Mina restaurant is located on galilee street 32. From outside it does not look like an attractive place to visit. In fact it looks more like a fast food restaurant. It does not smell as sea side restaurant, but actually it does not smell at all- Just a clean atmosphere with a smooth and quit Arabic and international music.I advise not to ask for the menu, just ask the owner and or the waiter what are the recommended dishes of the day, because it depends totally on the sea condition for that day. The fish is brought every morning from Acre fish market. It is FRESH. I wrote it in capital because it is really fresh. You can have your fish in any style that you have, but I recommend you to ask the owner for his opinion and his recommendation. A glass of Arak wont's be a bad idea beside the Nazareth's and Mediterranean fish maze. The salads and Nazareth's maze (appetizers) are recommended. Just ask the owner to lead, tell him about your budget and he will give you the best value for money.

The food at this restaurant was incredible. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff, especially Ahmed and Quasi, were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about the beautiful city. This place is a MUST if you visit Nazareth. Our favorite items were hummus with hot mushrooms and the tahini with eggplant. Can't wait to visit again soon. Shukraan!!

This restaurant set a new definition of hospitality and deliciousness. Possibly the best shawarma I've ever had. Everything we had was excellent and the price? They actually refused to give us a bill when Ahmed found out about our mission. We did pay but the cost was ridiculously inexpensive considering the amount and quality of the food. This was the most memorable meal we had in Israel and we ate at some fine establishments. This place is DDD worthy.

We ate here due to recommendations on the walking tour and I'm glad we listened. Really friendly staff that cares about its customers. The falafel pitta bread Sarndwhich was amazing and the staff/owners were so friendly. It had been the best price we paid and the tastiest. So please try. Only 14 sheckles for this (Israel money). We paid alot more in other places for far less quality food
