We wanted to have some brunch and this place looked promising but unfortunately turned out into not very good choice. We tried shawarma which was too dry and served without even a sauce. Pita bread wasn't fresh and on top of that the guy who served us wasn't really attentive. Better find something else.

We ordered take-out because we had such a stunning view from our hotel balcony, that we preferred to eat there and watch the sunrise than sit inside the mall (nice seating area but bust and no views of the nature outside). The food was ready within 10 minutes, piping hot and fresh and served with a smile. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

I went to eat there with my boyfriend and a friend, the service was horrible ! The waitor got our order in wrong and was unable so only two of us got served and the the third one had to wait 30 minutes. We used to work as waitress and bartender during our studies and the service there was quite horrifyingThe food wasn't that great ....

Although it is a typical branch of the chain, this one has a smaller variety of dishes and a somewhat different menu. I suppose it depends on the chef. The haloumi salad was quite different from the usual. Otherwise nice food and good service. Easy to find near the new mall.

Ein Bokek is a hotel complex by the Dead Sea with few independent restaurants. The Taj Mahal is one of the only free standing restaurants and it is a more pleasant, cheaper and better quality place to eat than the hotel restaurants.
If you like an eclectic atmosphere this is the place. It is named after a palace in India, but the food is mediteranian/midd and east and the decor is like a Bedouin tent. The food is well prepared and well presented along with good service. The price is quite reasonable. You won't ever dine alone here even at a table for one. The resturant has a pride of parlour panthers (kitties) that roam the floor looking for a taste of whats for dinner. These cats are not pets so dont try to pet them. However they are not really a nusance either, and I enjoyed the fun of them joining us for dinner as they were pretty well behaved. Good fun, good food. Well done all around.
