The Supermac's fast food restaurant in Oughterard Co Galway is located in the centre of the town. Supermac's is a family friendly restaurant with ample free car parking on site. The restaurant opens daily and free WiFi is available on site.
When walking about and are in need of an alternative to American fast food when with a group of American Visitors, Supermac's is always welcome. The location in Oughterard is clean, friendly, and the quick food was far better than what other places of it's type would have.

We a Gastro pub ,with 10 en suite bedrooms .A licensed restaurant /function room for 100 people with a private garden in the back for parties. Our front terrace is a sun trap and voted in the best 100 terraces for to eat and drink by" Sunday Independents"
Lovely Sunday afternoon, and got great table outside, mixed table of 6 with different eating requirements. Following instructions, we went into order and Waitress (a bit frazzled) told me at least half an hour wait as separate function going on. Told her we werenât in any hurry which we werenât and she brought out jugs of water and glasses, which they refilled without asking. Good place to sit off and chill, Food arrived, mixtures of sandwiches, 2 Carvery lunches, Goats cheese and all really good. And the most astounding thing of all asked if we would all like a drink on the house to apologise for the delay (which she did tell us about)! Unusual but one of the reasons why I would go back.

Friendly quick service in decent pub specialising in pizza (alongside normal looking menu choices). We all had pizza so can't comment on the other food items but the pizzas were very good and visually the other dishes looked nice enough.

On my visit Oughterard I was spoiled for choice of where to eat. A beautiful little village bustling with life. Having parked my car fortunately be side Camp Street Cafe we went in to a cosy cafe and were met by a friendly face. First off food was as the sign said the best fish and chip and they were not joking but the staff were amazing and if you are lucky to meet Dessie all the better but don't worry he'll make himself known talk the legs off you and play you a tune on his fiddle what more could you ask for. Give it a go. Don't ask for chicken and why would you chicken is bland the best of times he doesn't do chicken. His pizzas are amazing too as is the lemon cheese cake and chocolate cake. Oh the coffee is good to and great value for money Go on pay them a visit I promise you won't be disappointed.

We were recommended to visit Kellyâs by our B&B host as a great place to eat. This was also supported by the good reviews this summer on Trip Advisor. We got a great welcome by all the staff on arrival and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Good beer is a sign of a good bar and they were great. The Irish stew was really special and tasty, and was very enjoyable. Well done Kellyâs for a great evening out. Dvpa Thank you for a great review we are glad you enjoyed your visit and most of all the beer and our Irish stew and looking forward to your next !!!

After a long day of driving, my wife and I stopped in for dinner on Sunday evening and they had musicians there. While the pub was busy, the owner made sure we were seated and served promptly. My wife had the potato leek soup with goat cheese and I had the seafood chowder. We will be back on Wednesday evening because the musicians will be there again.

Long story short we missed our opportunity to get Connemara smoked fish direct from the source today during our looping drive through Connemara. As we were famished from our dayâs adventures, and wanted to celebrate with a grand meal, we looked up the highest rated restaurants in Oughterand. Our first pick was Powers, which was full, so we settled on Greenway. I need to state that while Iâm sure Powers Iâd good, Greenway was SPECTACULAR! First, it had features that provided the fish we so desired, which truly is the best smoked fish Iâve ever had, and, if these entrees are indicative of what else they serve, easily sets Greenway as the towns best. We even indulged in dessert, which capped off a magnificent meal.
