We had shared starters 2 between 3 of us - they were good size portions, and the main course had curry and burgers they were also good-sized portions. I ended up stuffed as I couldn't resist eating all the curry. The lights got dimmer as the evening went on but a bit too dim as couldn't see what I was eating.Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your meal. We have fitted new lights in your front bar today, hopefully the lighting will be better on your next visit.

We stopped in on a recommendation. They have a fabulous breakfast menu. I had the black pudding hash and my friend had the vegetarian hash. Both dishes were absolutely gorgeous. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. In addition to the great food and warm welcome, I was delighted to see hand sanitizers at the serving hatch and at the doorway into the kitchen. Also every time the chefs werenât serving up dishes, they were cleaning down the surfaces. Made me feel very confident about the food I was getting. Weâll definitely be back

My family and I ducked in for a late lunch and to get out of the rain. We all had fish and chips. It was great. My 14 year old daughter couldn't eat all her meal, it was so much. Our 17 year old son was even filled, which is rare. Service was fast and friendly. Arrived to waitress saying we donât have a table even before we said we had reservation. They had a free table thankfully. However service all night wasnât great even 2nd bottle of wine left in cooler not even opened. Food was very good surf and turf really good as was potato skins and Erin mess. Then when leaving they couldnât get rid of us quick enough.

I had my birthday dinner here with 14 family members and the staff at Room 8 could not have been more accommodating. Everyone was happy with their food and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. We were not rushed out at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend Room 8 and I'm looking forward to my next visit

I donât normally do reviews but this restaurant definitely deserves one. You can tell from my title I love this place. Iâve been back so many times since itâs opened and I just love it. Amazing food, so fresh colourful and vibrant, really cool vibe and the staff are just the friendliest. Ye guys got so much right.. well done! We found this place by accident and having seen the big sign at the roadside, we decided to give it a try.Upon entering the place I was impressed by the lovely interior deco and we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She was very helpful in taking our orders and serving us throughout, making sure we were fine.We ordered the soup which was served with the best brown bread I've tasted (and this is not because we were hungry!) and the cottage pie came in a good serving size. I absolutely love that they serve steamed vegetables instead of fries which was healthier option.My bf was driving so he couldn't really drink, so it was nice that they have alcohol free beer too.I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone!
