Donât let the neighborhood or outside fool you, this place has seriously good food, huge portions and reasonable prices. Great staff, friendly and clean and if I were a Bostonian Iâd eat here often. Damn good pub grub.

Returned to McKay's after finding it last year. Went on St. Patrick's Day. Surprisingly, the wait for a table was not bad. Had full belly clam dinner, eggs Benedict, and French toast with sausage. Everything was delicious! The portions are ample. Can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. Very busy spot. Only wish the wait staff was more welcoming.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon, it was reasonably quiet. It is a pleasant and comfortable place to eat, but probably gets noisy when the sports are shown. The menu was varied and prices very reasonable. The service was prompt and efficient, there was plenty of time between courses and everything was well cooked. A very comprehensive array of beers was available.
