So glad we came across this little treasure in the back blocks of Kilkenny! Best meal in our two weeks in Ireland and top service by the whole team! Recommended to try the Irish coffee, and definitely not disappointed! Dessert was amazing and main course too!Would definitely come back tomorrow but they are closed on Monday.

Alan and Katrin are saying Hello and Grüss Gott. This is a unique Irish Pub with Bavarian touch and friendly atmosphere. Our credo is to look after each person as a friend so they will always come back.We have 8 beers on draft and a big selection of spirit
Visited while traveling through the area with my mother. Very nice staff whom we chatted with and they were very helpful with directions in the area. The ham and cheese sandwiches were excellent as was the beer. The type of place I wish I had in my hometown. Thank you so much for your lovely message.

This is a lovely small hotel , bar and restaurant. Amazing food !
We visited after we left the Festival of Ideas in Borris House. The bar area was fully booked but we accommodated in the restaurant instead. We were able to order from the bar menu though. Excellent food - the fish and chips were particularly good. Lovely staff also

We run a sweet little Coffee Shop on The Banks of The River Barrow in St Mullins. There is seating both inside and out and we provide waitress service. Our Menu provides a selection of Salads Prawn and Crab,Hummis and Chicken liver Pate plus many more.Pizza
When in the area we always make a point of stopping off here in Mullichain Café as there's such lovely food, friendly staff & a really nice atmosphere. Everything is freshly prepared & well presented, salads & open sandwiches are excellent, cakes & pastries are really good too! It's in a great location if you happen to be down by the river, but it's somewhat hidden from the road. Better signage would seem the obvious, however, it's always busy so people seem to locate it easily enough. Well done & we hope they continue to do well.Hi Guys Many thanks for a lovely review it warms the heart ⥠We have a great gang of young people working with us that make it all happen. Signage we have given up trying to get proper signage so now we just put up our post code R95XY93 Best wishes Martin Emer and Mark and all the lads and lassies
Locally run cafe and bakery, overlooking the picturesque River Barrow. Excellent walking, cycling, kayaking and boating on our doorstep. Weekly changing menu including excellent sandwiches, soups and homemade baking.
We cycled down the River Barrow one Sunday, finishing in Graiguenamanagh. Boats Cafe was a welcome sight. Freshly painted on the outside with some cute outdoor seats. The menu had some tasty treats, salads, soups... one of those menus that you want to try everything! And that's what I did :) I ordered a sandwich and sides salad with the chowder. Oh. My. God. The chowder. It was divine. Thick and creamy with plenty of fresh fish. If you're to have nothing else, you'll walk away a very satisfied customer. Staff were attentive and super friendly. All in all a little gem of a cafe!

Stopped in for lunch with my family. There was a limited lunch menu. We all opted for soup. There were two options: lentil and vegetable or tomato and basil. We all had lentil and vegetable which tasted really nice and wholesome. It was served with brown bread which was lovely also. The setting was nice. I would return.

Good choice of about four main course specials for lunch, but they also had sandwiches, soup, panini etc.The food was very tasty and good quantities. Staff friendly and atmosphere was relaxed. It still felt like eating in a pub (because it was) but overall it was a great lunch after a long day walking.
