I have been visiting the Dundrum area every year for more than 10 years and the Bucks Head has consistently delivered an excellent meal and wonderful service every time. I believe my wife and I must have had approximately 40 meals over that ten year period. We have also recommended the Bucks Head to friends and family who have all had the same wonderful experience. Enjoy !

The Hatch is mobile fast food at its best. It can be found at various locations on different occasions throughout counties Mourne and Down and further afield. Visit their web site to find out where and when and to view the menu. Itâs becoming a regular Friday night take away with us. The food is a class above normal take away and is obviously appreciated and becoming more popular. Their specials vary from week to week and are always different from what you would expect from a mobile take away. I was so impressed by them I got them listed on trip advisory

Ate last night despite arriving at 7.30 got main course at 9.10pm only after asking, staff who were pleasant initially did not approach at anytime to say anything about delay at the end food was average, expected more because of previous recommendations

The young team in this bustling tapas bar is producing some extremely good food, as non-meat eaters we can vouch for vegetable dishes, cauliflower and broccoli that sang with fresh flavour, while a plate of just seared salmon melted in the mouth. A good wine list and excellent Titanic ale did the job. We were sorry not to be able to visit twice on our short break but look forward to coming back.

We had an enjoyable evening at Great Jones. A casual dining experience with a decent atmosphere.We had sharing plasters of calimari and chicken wings as starters which were fine. The real highlight was the monkfish and beef curry. An unusual combo which was terrific. Ribeye steaks were also good.The wine list was extremely limited - we tried an Australian Malbec which was disappointing.Staff were very friendly and attentive.

We visited Blue Bay Cafe on Saturday 21 September 2019. I had a delicious open prawn salad, my husband had a tasty sandwich with proper, boiled ham, cheese and coleslaw. Both generous helpings, we couldn't find room for dessert, though my husband did manage a German biscuit. Service was quick and friendly. The cafe is small, around 18 seats, well situated in Dundrum. We will certainly return when we are nest in Dundrum.

Called in as group on Thursday 4th July and the salad has obviously not been rinsed as there were gritty bits in every mouthful. The order came incomplete and there was no compensation for this mess. We had been in on another day and it was perfect. Such a pity.Hi Sofia P, Thank you for your review and letting us know about this . I actually worked all day Thurs and there werent any complaints between 9am & 430 when i left for the day . We definitley would have offered comp had we been aware at the time . We were out for a drive today and decided to stop off for lunch. Rather than travel on to Maghera .........we decided to check out Castlewellan. We liked the look of Bilbos from the outside - clean, tidy and attractive. The menu was clearly displayed and showed a variety of dishes for all tastes. It was busy and that is always a good sign. We were welcomed as soon as we entered through the door and we then chose a nice table in a private corner. It is small inside but you can still have a private conversation without being overheard.Our menu arrived promptly and we ordered quickly. Our tea and water were brought right away. The food arrived quickly- after being freshly cooked. Our waitress was lovely and nothing was too much trouble! I never order anything as it appears on the menu - I tend to change things around! This was not an issue and what I received was exact what I had ordered. That does not happen in other eating establishments! Hubby's Fry was very tasty and not greasy. My chicken and salad delicious. More tea was not an issue .... and to finish off we were given fab homemade shortbread - this was a really nice touch. When we are in the vicinity again we will come to Bilbos - not anywhere else. We were very impressed. 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 value

Terrific place. The food was excellent, as was the Guinness. Excellent service, super buzz about the place. Very popular with locals (always a good sign) although tricky to find if you don't know where it is. Would absolutely return at the drop of a hat. Highly recommended.
