This is a great wee hotel. A bit dated but that's in keeping with the delightful town of Castleblayney. The room we had, a double, was adequate and spotlessly clean. There was a bath and shower which is great if you like choice. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful as were the rest. The bar food was very good, probably the best I've had in a bar in Southern Ireland in a while but the only downside was the waiting staff, although very friendly, were a bit slow! We had five different servers and I can't help thinking that if we had only one appointed to our table, service might be better. Breakfast was lovely, good choices and freshly cooked. One server attended us and the service was excellent. All in all a great stay and I would certainly return.Dear Guest,Thank you for your great review and for your comments, I will be sure to pass them on to the relevant departments. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and indeed the lovely breakfast. We do hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Management

Established in 2012, The View Restaurant and bar is the ideal place to unwind. It has a uniquely designed bar and restaurant that offers panoramic views of Concra Wood Golf course and the surrounding lake of Lough Muckno.
We visited the view on a family day out, the food was exceptional and the staff were very helpful and chatty, the restaurant doesnât get its name for nothing. The view of muckno lake on a summers day is something you can beat and the the view restaurant were able to make or meal as enjoyable and comfortable as they could. Thank you

In the meeting house you will find fresh and frozen produce from local farms prepared by local business and other goods from farther afield provided by Irish wholesalers and suppliers. We provide a warm and welcoming service, high quality and fairly price
Maybe it is Easter but I had to recognise this restaurant's former life which was as a Presbyterian Church. Renovated by a local committee on a cross religion basis, which was a great idea. This old church serves up heavenly food indeed, and the staff are Angels. Great service, even a Gluten Free menu. We haven't been here for some time and it was nice to see it doing even better than before. It is brighter and cheerier and has a farm market included. So you get a great healthy meal and can go away with some home made bread or other foods. Well worth the visit. A wee word of warning for those drivers heading North like ourselves, you have to cross a very busy road to get to the church, which is on the right hand side. So take care. There is a 100km speed limit here and the Motorists tend to be right on the 100km as they pass by. I had a "club sandwich" which was awesome! It was so large that I didn't need anything else until I got home to Donegal. There is a busy Petrol Station and restaurant opposite the church which has a lot of traffic entering and leaving it too. Another hazard when returning North after your nice meal in the Church.Hi Seamus,Thank you for your great review and lovely comments.RegardsKaren

Fresh home cooked meals.
Looks nice but donât be deceived!!!!Very small portions for very large prices. Portion of beans cost 2.50. RIP off. And you could count the number of them, the portion was so small. 12 chips on the plate and were hard. 4 small goujons in the portion. Go to Eileenâs. Hundred times better. Staff extremely rude too which is Rare for this town.
