Stayed the night in Carlingford in our camper and went for breakfast the next day. After looking around the village we decided to try here because it seemed popular within cyclists (always a good guide). Great breakfast, super value and served by lovely people. Thoroughly recommended.

A really nice place to stay and to relax. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard.Thank you for staying & eating with us & appreciating all that we do and all that we are! We are a small dedicated team & we all enjoy what we do here. This early Georgian house was built in 1727 with 3 acres of walled gardens and a total of 12 acres if you include the horse fields - and we are lucky enough to be just a tree length from the even more historic Medieval Carlingford, with its' craft shops, boutiques, cafes and other fine restaurants. Making Carlingford your base - whether it's exploring the Medieval streets, castles, town gate, priory walking the mountain or seashore or even popping into Belfast or Dublin which are just an hour away and returning to the sanctuary of log fires, Georgian ambiance here with us...... - you succinctly & precisely summed all that we love and other guests such as you appreciate too.Thank you.

Really enjoyed our visit here Saturday night, my husband is from Newry and surprisingly few knew about this place.(they do now!!)...The staff are family, the view is amazing, it is casual but if you want the freshest fish I've had in quite a while just go...we loved it and the staff could not have been better, I look so forward to a return. Only opens at weekends I think so do check and I would book ahead as it was busy as we left around 7:00pm....Well done to all.

Such an amazing place with a totally outstanding and unique character ... quirky layout... and packed with people... mostly kids on stag or hen weekends ... if your a lover of GOOD tasting professionally cooked food ... then walk on by... this of more sit in fast food.. catering for the stag hen weekends most of whine would not recognise good wholesome well cooked food.. I had God and Chips ...the most tasteless piece of fish Iâve ever ate... doubting seriously if it was indeed Cod... Iâd say their profit is in the drink! Yet The Service is fantastic and waiting staff very attentive ... pity the food was such a let down !!

I travel over an hour from my home regularly because it is one of those very rare places where you can get healthy colourful food that tastes really really good. The owners are super friendly they approach their cooking with passion and are rightfully proud of the food they create.
