I had never taken so much time to order my food in the past. But the lady working at the hotel was so patient to go through the menu with me. Inspired by Ancient Tea Horse Road, the menu items are classified into regional categories such as Sichun and India. The quality of food is superb and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with flowers.Dear valuable guest,We have all the time to serve our guests, so no problem, we are happy when you are happy. Its a great place to hang out, meet fellow tourists whilst having decent western food. We visited their branch at Shangrila and were surprised to find this latest outlet at Shuhe where we are staying. Masala Chai in a pot is good, we liked the coconut cake.

This is a great place to go to. The chef was trained in Chengdu by a Western chef for 3 years, also can speak English and is very helpful. Great atmosphere, unique. The hamburger is by far the best in Lijiang in my opinion. The meat isn't thin, quality burger and definitely fresh, it comes with fries or a salad for a great value. The pizza is also the better one in this city, better than Grandma's Kitchen, better than Bon Appetito, better than Sojurner's, and better than Maya's. Same goes for the hamburger, it won't disappoint! Finally, they have free Wi-Fi, can't get much better than that! They also serve the whole menu all day. Breakfast is decent as well. Has music playing downstairs that is good as well, not annoying, a great mix of music.

The Lakeside is not open for lunch or dinner.The breakfast buffet is expansive and excellently executed with both traditional American and Chinese fare. The staff is accommodating. Breakfast on the porch is a delight.
