Jeder Gang war optisch und kulinarisch ein Träumchen. Man wagt es fast gar nicht, diese Kunstwerke zu zerstören. Viele GrüÃe aus der Küche, die sogar ein zusätzliches Glas Wein beinhaltet haben. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, sehr freundlicher routinierter Sommelier. Herr Johannes Steingrüber hat uns sogar meistens seine kulinarischen Kunstwerke selbst serviert und erklärt. Granz toll, was dieser junge Mann in seiner Küche mit seinem gleichfalls jungen Team zaubert. Wie können nur anraten, sehr viele Gänge zu probieren, aber nicht, weil man z.B. nur mit 5 Gängen nicht satt wird, sondern weil jeder weitere Gang eine weitere Geschmacksexplosion ist. Wir kommen sicher wieder, denn hier passt einfach alles.

I have dined in many Ritz-Carlton "The Grill" restaurants. This was the worst when it came to setting. I felt like I was in a big cafeteria under huge square glaring fluorescent lights (see photos) that killed any atmosphere. Honestly, my high school cafeteria was nicer. And they are so bright, the candle on the table is hilarious and there's no way you can see out the window to the water due to the reflection. I have never seen a "Grill" room quite like this. Apparently the VW people make the restaurant turn on all the lights and that's too bad since it totally ruins the atmosphere for any non-VW diners. After a day of touring and drive from Berlin, we had arrived hopeful for a relaxing dinner in the hotel. One restaurant, Aqua, was closed. The bar was under construction. The Grill was the one and only choice. When we went to reserve, we were told there were parties that night and they could not handle hotel guests until after 8:30 PM (??). So we went down at that time, and still had to wait; we were given a drink which was nice, they really tried, but clearly the VW crowd is very demanding and comes first ahead of hotel guests. The meal was average, they tried really hard with the service and the manager was just lovely and kind and apologized, it wasn't her fault. But clearly VW rules here, and what a really ugly restaurant this is - no warmth, no charm, just big bright horrible fluorescent lights and middle of the road food.

We had easter brunch in this restaurant and were thrilled with both service and food. I loved the atmosphere and how nostalgic the ambience is with the partially exposed brick walls and wood beams. Food was very well executed and we had nothing but praise for the chef. Iâd go back without hesitation and would recommend it to others in a heartbeat! Well done!

Few options, too expensive, but it gives what it promises... Try the Original VW Curry Wirst elsewhere... Anyway, if hungry, worth the visit...

Wir waren gestern in diesem Restaurant und waren überaus begeistert. Sehr nette freundliche Bedienung. Super Location, nett eingedeckte Tische. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war normal. Wir hatten Steaks mit Ofenkartoffel m. Sour Creme u. Süsskartoffelpommes und Salat vom Bufett. Der Salat war frisch, SoÃen konnte man zwischen 3 wählen. Die Süsskartoffelpommes waren knackig und das beste waren die Steaks. Genau auf den Punkt! Das Essen war ein GenuÃ! Rundum ein schöner Abend und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

An in house restaurant at an otherwise great hotel. We had gluggy, too salty ravioli, a barely adequate burger and a steak that was ordered medium rare, and came medium. Service was poor, with chips falling off the plate onto the table, the maitre dâ reaching across the table to remove a plate, and a generally unfriendly vibe. For the price the food should have been much better.
