Things to do in Weligama
Juicy burgers, fresh seafood, homemade desserts and lemonades. We use natural local products and select them daily for you. Spacious and cozy interior. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Good music and surf videos on the biggest screen in Weligama.
Among all places I've visited in Weligama and surrounding area Line Up Cafe offers outstanding service (attentive, friendly and homelike), delicious food (fresh seafood, deserts, juicy burgers with Idaho potatoes), refreshing homemade lemonades and fruit juices without water or ice being added. This place is spacious (has 2 floors, but second is not functioning yet, because they have opened only a month ago and still have to complete it with furniture), the first floor opened to the guests is well decorated and very fresh looking, calm and relaxing atmosphere, great music, restrooms are clean and well maintained. Owners work all day to meet guests needs, cook great food, communicate, ask for feedback to improve their work and help with advice of places to see and give contacts for cheaper rental of places to stay or scooters. In the evenings surf videos and movies being shown on the biggest screen in Weligama. They have some board games. Overall this place is nothing like you can find in Sri Lanka. Friendly and professional staff makes you feel more like home. We came here everyday during our vacation in this part of the island. Dear Ivan,Thank you for your kindest review!!!

Chilled beach side Cafe serving eclectic cuisine featuring the best of home grown produce and refreshing beverage concoctions. Bring a towel and laze in the pool while enjoying vistas of the terquoise blue ocean. Escape. Unwind. Savour.
Waiters arenât helpful or accommodating at all - borderline rude even. Food was average at best despite being relatively more expensive than others. There are far better restaurants in Mirissa for a good meal. The only thing going for this place is the view - beachside with a pool. Would highly recommend finding another spot along Mirissa Beach as there are plenty of great restaurants with good vibes. We firstly would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as per the comments which you have mentioned above. We are very keen in maintaining our high standards and trust kept in our food and service. In order to further evaluate the matter we have personally messaged you.Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Bad-small portions (main dish not even close to standard Sri Lankan sizes)-expensive compared to other Sri Lankan restaurants -food was tasteless. Ordered the Thai Chicken Curry and it was extremely bland. One of the worst meals I have had in Sri Lanka ( nearing the end of a 2.5week trip)Good-The view was awesome-Food came quick

Smoothie bowl, breakfast and brunch bar located in Mirissa. Serving delicious healthy favourites like wholemeal bread, Avo toast, poached eggs with a local twist!
Lovely eggs and coffee. Its modern and has an Australian coffee shop design to its look. The only thing that didn't make this review 5 star are the flies and the fact the waiters would clear a plate before the other person was done.

There are plenty of seafood restaurants in Mirissa, but at Freshwave, weâve added a little extra to the experience. The restaurant has been designed for happy chaos and lively banter, similar to the hubbub of a seafood market. Frshwaveâs day begins in the
Amazing restaurant right on the beach. My partner and I tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. I particularly loved the mango lassi and the curry was one of the best I've ever had! The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable local knowledge. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The happy hour from 1-10pm was a nice touch too

I'd been wanting to stay at Ceylon Sliders from the moment I had come across their page on Instagram. My partner and I had booked 1 night accommodation in the Island Suite, and was great. Interiors were very modern and the room was spacious, with a walk out onto the balcony overlooking the beach. The staff were all so friendly, rooms were relaxing, breakfasts were delicious and cocktails were tasty. We've already recommended Ceylon Sliders for a place to stay and eat to many friends looking to add Sri Lanka on their travel list.
