Founded in early summer 2014, the restaurant's origins lie in Le Marais, Paris. Weekends spent propping up the area's cocktail bars and small plate restaurants of Paris' 4th Arrondissement nurtured a desire to create somewhere in which small plates and we
Took some visiting relatives here and it didnât disappoint.Courses were all exceedingly tasty and well made with great flavours and dips.Couple of the fish courses wouldnât be out of place in a fine dining restaurant.Staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is great.

Eatery on a corner of Dale street and Crosshall street giving Liverpool proper food, proper drinks and friendly service since March 2015
On our recent trip to Liverpool we discovered this gem and started each day with one of their delicious and reasonably priced breakfasts. Friendly, welcoming staff. A swift service where nothing was too much trouble for them. On one morning I had a special cereal dish with fruit made to order. Everything is beautifully presented. A lovely venue with a great vibe. Highly recommended.

Was a pleasant evening till a very loud group sat down next to us. To make it worse, when we ordered the chocolate fondant we were told it was finished for the day. Reason transpired the group next to us had pre-ordered this dessert. On balance, no reason to return till they improve on these issues.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I apologise that the guests who arrived at Puffin' Rooms were a little rowdy. I hope to welcome you back to Puffin' Rooms If you would like to contact me on [email protected] to discuss the matter further, please feel free. James Murphy

First visit to Amara. Staff attentive and friendly. No fault there. However restaurant very cold so uncomfortable. Starters tasty but mains were just warm and my lamb dish was poor quality, very fatty and tough. Would not visit again. But please note this was not due to staff who were splendid, just down to food quality and surroundings.

Bacchus Taverna is a modest looking little place on a busy Liverpool street near the cruise ship dock, but it's a gem. The inside is tidy and welcoming and our waiter was very kind and helpful. We had Kleftiko (slow roasted lamb shoulder) and Keftedia (lamb & pork meatballs in a fragrant tomato sauce). Our main dishes were accompanied by green beans with tomato & onion, rice lightly dressed with tomato sauce & roasted potatoes. We shared a plate of Saganaki for our appetizer. The lamb shoulder was fork tender, the 6 meatballs were handmade & tasty. All the food was spiced perfectly & our waiter took wonderful care of us! Definitely a placed we'd enjoy returning to.

My husband and I have only used the olive tree for evening meals, always delicious, but today we decided to try Sunday lunch, it was lovely, my husbands lamb melted I his mouth, they even asked how I liked my beef rare or well done. A good choice of veg in plate. Would highly recommend for Sunday lunches.
