C'est si simple un restaurant :Une terrasse, du calme, un bel accueil, un seul menu à 24e avec 2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts aux choix, une cuisine juste parfaite... Tout était excellente... Aucune fausse note ! Quel plaisir et quelle surprise dans un petit village comme celui de Mazères.Bravo à vous ! Changez rien !

As an Englishman, I can't believe how lucky the French can be: not only do they have their own cuisine, but now they've stolen fish and chips and turned them into an art form! Perfectly cooked cod in beautiful batter served in a paper wrapper (properly hygienic, not like the good old days of newspaper!) with excellent chips and a lovely salad in the heart of France - sacré bleu! I was lucky enough to be able to compliment the chef in person and hope to be able to do the same again soon - well worth the trip.

The food is unforgettably delicious: imaginative, creative and delicately put together, yet unpretentious and rooted in quality local ingredients. As a previous reviewer said, the environment and views are indeed 'breathtaking' and 'no expense has been spared' on the outdoor eating area, curved around ancient oaks. It's a rural paradise, but just 5 minutes' drive from the city of Langon. The ecological design, building materials and homage to nature are an inspiration. The service is friendly, attentive and multi-lingual. At 22 or 28 euros per menu, you'd expect it to be twice that price. What more can I say? Just go and enjoy it...

En pénétrant dans cette guinguette, vous êtes déjà en voyage dans les iles.Pour la cuisine, ce couple de restaurateurs très sympathiques vous feront un délicieux déjeuner pour un prix très appréciable. Leur viande rouge est superbe et leur dessert aussi.

Parfois, à la lecture d'avis élogieux sur TripAdvisor, on se dit que c'est du tout cuit. Il suffit cependant de considérer des éléments imprévus pour s'apercevoir que cette certitude peut être très fragile. Un mauvais jour certainement, un trop-plein de monde sûrement et on est très déçu. C'est mon avis pour cette journée précise mais cette adresse ne reste pas la perle de la journée. Accueil moyen, nourriture très "basique " et ambiance.....très bruyante. A mauvais ressenti, mauvaise impression et donc mauvaise note. Un cas isolé.....!? Souhaitons le. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.
