There is an amazing large awning that occupied the majority of the courtyard dining area. This means that there is no need to keep moving around to get the shade on a hot day. The tables are set out so that there is plenty of space for everyone.The menu and wine list are very good with a good selection of dishes for all tastes. As I have found out since being in this area of Hungary the white wines are excellent so I would recommend these over local reds.Service was great and do not think the meal will arrive quickly because all the dishes we had were freshly prepared (allowing time to savour the wine)It is not an easy place to find but well worth the search.

Daily menu for a very solid price, self service. You can choose from (at least) a dozen of meals (soups, meats, deserts). Food was salty, but you could eat it. Card is accepted, free wifi.

Next to the Best!Extraordinary quality for that price.I have never been disappointed opposite to the fact that I do have requirements.The restaurant is basically "self-service" but this has nothing to do to the quality...

We, together with my family of four, are continouisly visiting the oliva restaurant since twelve years now. We mostly like the atmosphere of summer nights when you sit in the courtyard of the restaurant filled with sophisticated people and families. Mostly jazzradio is in the air, sometimes acoustic guitar player is on "stage". Central location of oliva makes the place a good starter for innercity walks. We like the kind staff so much. Chief chef is the same from our first visit, worth to mention, as we love his style: Balazs Tornyos
