We enjoyed every moment of our time as this wonderful small restaurant tucked away in Aachen. The owners served us and took care of us very well. We started with the fois gras -- it was perfect, so tender -- succulent. The best we've ever had anywhere! Plus a good-sized portion for the price. Next was the rabbit tenderloin: interesting and different, but maybe rabbit is not something we'd go for again; nevertheless this dish was beautifully prepared. Last was the creme brulee flamed at the table. We have had this many many other places, but this was wonderful and memorable. Wine selection was great, ambiance great. Proprietors were charming and added to the experience. We look to coming back.
This is the restaurant within the central complex of a holiday park of several 100 purpose built cottagesThe food is pretty good and flexible enough for families and other groups.Mix of Dutch / Belgian and German type food with some international dishes mixed in.The place is ideal for a 1st or last meal when getting to the park, but good for other visits as well. The "Vlaai" desserts are a local type of fruit style flans - plenty of varieties & really good if you haven't come across them before.Recommended.

Restaurant Schneeberg is situated in a suburb of Aachen, Germany, just one kilometer over the Dutch border. You have to drive through some sort of portal, let out in the ground floor of an apartment block to reach some sort of big patio, consisting mainly of a parking lot. What helps to find the restaurant, above this portal a sign of "Restaurant Schneeberg" is fixed. The ground floor of the patio, formed by apartment blocks contain shops, where far the biggest shop is a "Hit" supermarket. On the left side of the patio, restaurant Schneeberg is situated. Because of the surroundings, big apartment blocks in a U form, with a satellite dishes on most balconies, it is with a certain amount of surprise to discover restaurant Schneeberg there. Parking may be a bit awkward because of the popularity of the "Hit" supermarket, but in the street behind the complex, ample parking is possible. Inside the restaurant is a quiet and neat oasis. The beer is cold. The menu is extensive; also on Friday, a special fish menu is added. The entree, smoked salmon on toast as well as my main course, pan fried salmon with roesti potatoes, were delicious. I must add, that the chef not only is determined that you will not go home hungry, by serving ample portions, but that the plates with food are also pleasing to the eye. Food at restaurant Schneeberg is prepared with care. After we had asked for the bill, two nice glasses of special liqueur were presented to us "on the house". Restaurant Schneeberg is maybe a bit hard to locate, but definitively to be recommended.

We actually stopped here because we got lost entering Aachen. We had a feeling the Café Zera would have free internet, and they did. We took advantage of our time to have two coffees and some superb apple torts. Luscious. I highly recommend this spot, especially on a lovely day, as we had.

I joined my colleagues for food and drink. Being a vegetarian, it is always difficult to explain what I like to eat. No meat, no fish, no egg. Then they wonder what should they give me. I simply request for bolied vegetables like potato, broccoli, tomato, beans , carrots etc. Perhaps, such dish is not in their standard menu. Any way, after a lot of deleberation, I get some thing to eat and end up paying high price for a nonstandard dish.

We were there last November, just wanted to try some different from kebap cuisine. The service is immaculate, the owners are very pleasant people and the Polish food there is extremely delicious. We haven't tried anything else from their extensive menu, however they have pasta, kebap and few other dishes. The prices are perfectly fine. Today for 3 beers, 2x6 Pierogi and 1 plate of 4 Placki we paid 32 EUR.I totally recommend this place!
