Trujillo is a lively intersection of ancient culture and modern arts. See ancient ruins at the Chan Chan archaeological site and be awed by the Moche Huaca del Sol y la Luna (temples of the sun and moon.). The multicolored Tunnel of Wishes on the Paseo de Aguas is a fabulous place for people-watching. Locally brewed corn beer is worth a try. If you’re a nightlife lover, pace yourself—bars and clubs get going late, and then go all night.

Amadeo is a different experience. It is situated on the 7th block of Pizarro, a great and historic walking street in the center of Trujillo.
We were the only customers at this place which worried us a little but in the end the food was good. We were attracted by the daily specials (20soles for food and drink) but ended up buying from the menu.We wanted tequenos (similar to fried spring rolls) as a started but were informed after 5 minutes they had run out. My first choice main came with tacu tacu but again they had run out. So much for our Peruvian meal! We had fish in a very strong garlic sauce and sudado fish (a think stew based on tomato and onion). The dishes had strong, tasty flavours. We had decent piscos (8 soles) too.

On our way to another restaurant we found this (new) jewel by accident! The welcome was very friendly and the chef/owner came to take our orders and when we asked for an alteration of a dish it was no problem at all and they would substitute the ingredient for something else. When the food arrived it looked good and the taste was even better! We didn't find any other restaurant in this price range that came even close to La Galera in terms of food and staff friendliness. All the staff speak really good English and they all make it their top priority to make your dinner as pleasant as can be. If you are in Trujillo you shouldn't miss out on this fantastic place!

Coco Torete offers an excellent selection of grilled meats that our table enjoyed. The portions were huge especially the ribs. They were very specific as to how the beef would be done. The sides of roasted vegetables that included peppers and potatoes were tasty. Unfortunately, they used canned mushrooms for the barbecued and ceviche mushrooms and resulted in a poor selection. The service was friendly and efficient.

I was lucky in that I stayed at the hotel so was able to enjoy Las Bovedas whenever I wanted over six days. I ate breakfast daily and dinner here multiple evenings and enjoyed everything from asparagus soup to mixed salad to delicious steak to fresh ceviche: in fact their ceviche (seabass) was my favorite ceviche dish that I had in all of Peru! I am still dreaming about it. The service was wonderful - every single time. Don't hesitate to go here if time (and appetite) allows.Dear Wildcat98,Thank you very much for your visit and leave your comments in our restaurant The Vaults TripAdvisor .Your expectations saber puts us very happy that the quality and service have been exceeded. With Respect Our culinary offer, the chef , Juan Ramos , has developed a letter in which it has added value adding Product Diversity in the region. It will be a pleasure to welcome you personally on your next visit .best regardsJorge MarroquinA & B Manager

Alma Bar Restaurante of Casa Andina Premium Trujillo is a proposal of Peruvian cuisine fusion with Creole and regional dishes in a casual and fresh atmosphere. Our menu offers star dishes using delicious regional ingredients such as grilled octopus, rice
Staying at the Casa Andina, we ate breakfast twice and lunch once here. The breakfast is extensive, filling and reasonably priced. Eggs to order complement the buffet. Great coffee. Attentive service. Lunch was elegant, brochettes of chicken and peppers in passion fruit sauce, lomo saltado entrée, and chocolate cream puff and lucuma ice cream for dessert!
