Bayaroma Cafe is one of Hervey Bay's best cafes. It is a charming cafe ideally located on the Hervey Bay Esplanade in beautiful Torquay opposite the best swimming spot, the popular train park for families and great new picnic spots on the foreshore. If yo
We went to a restaurant down the road and left because nobody would serve us. So we were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed at the entrance of Bayaroma by friendly wait staff. The food was tasty and hot, the juices excellent and not watered down as sometimes happens. The coffee was delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Hi lisamE1773MB! Wow - there is so much in this review that makes us happy! We LOVE that you instantly felt welcomed into our café - this is such a big aim of ours! And to hear that you really enjoyed your food, drinks and coffee makes us super proud and happy of our team as well. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review lisamE1773MB! We really appreciate it. Hopefully see you at café again soon. Jess :)

Located on the Esplanade at Torquay, the dining experience at the Wild Lotus Restaurant & Bar is reflective of the Fraser Coast lifestyle. The menu showcases fresh local produce and seafood and is complimented with a sensational range of wines and great s
We visited the restaurant again as we were invited with friends. Our Kilpatrick Oysters were watery and lukewarm as were the meals. We didn't want to embarrass our friends so didn't say anything to the waitstaff (who tried very hard on a busy night) but for us, we just feel there are better places in Hervey Bay to eat at.

The Vinyard offers incomparable views we wish to share with you. Be that for a cheeky mid afternoon glass of wine, a full dinner, long lunch or weekend breakfast. We have the place, the food and and drink to exceed your needs.
This restaurant had some good reviews prior to their extensive renovations so we decided to try them again and see if the food was still as good as before. The scenic outlook over the bay is fabulous but we were very disappointed with the meal portion sizes. Prices were reasonable compared to other like restaurants, about middle of the road prices, until you see the meal portions they serve.I ordered Pork Belly on an Asian slaw.At first I thought they had mistaken my meal for an entree, it was served on a small bread/entree plate. I asked why it didn't come on a proper main meal plate and was told it was correct and not an entree but they could re-plate it on that style plate if I wished. I asked for it to be re-plated.Well I can understand now why they plate it on such small plates. When it came back on a normal main meal plate, it looked ridiculously small. Two tiny pieces of pork belly ( and I do mean tiny, maybe 4cm by 2cm), served on a tiny amount of what they call Asian slaw (maybe 2 pinches of slaw in total), in the middle of this plate. It looked so ridiculously small and out of place . It tasted fine, not fantastic but OK, the Asian slaw was not good at all and honestly I think the entire meal could have been produced for about $5 by buying supermarket ready meals. The evening was a big disappointment, one which won't be repeated. As we drove home we ended up stopping at a fast food outlet and buying food because we were still so hungry.Thank you Montyblue for taking the time to review us.We are very happy that you enjoyed the renovations. We are a little confused as to the response of the waitstaff as the pork belly dish is indeed an entrée therefore designed to ensure you still have room for your main or the other dishes you wish to share with your dining companions. We apologise for the miscommunication at the time. Kind regards
