At Belvedere, the visual performance of the street completes the gastronomic presentation of the dishes. The rich multicultural heritage of the city is concentrated into a five-star fusion menu. Meridional dominant notes are combined with a contemporary t
The only thing good about this restaurant is the location. I've been at a private party in October 2016 and wanted to know what the dishes were in order to know which wine to take. The only thing that the waitress could tell me was: appetizer, soup and main course. After asking what the main course was, she didn't know. The food is at most mediocre, the pork steak tasted like chewing gum.The only good thing about this place is its location, right in the center of Timisoara with a good view over the main squareDear Mariuspt,We do apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused during your privat party. I do belive that you were an invited guest at the event. Usually the menu's at the private events are selected by the organizer and in concordance with his/her budget. When it comes to any info regarding the items in the meniu usually there are printed menus on the table. That does not excuse any of the waitress for not knowing the meniu but let me remind you that not all the people that serve a table are waitress, some are only carring the food, poor the wine and clean the tables. I'm sure there must be some kind of misunderstanding or you may have expected a different kind of service/menu. This is out of our hands. What I can suggest is that you give it another try to the menu as recommended by the location and not necesary set for a specific privat party. All the best and looking forward in seeing you again. The Management

Located near the water, close to all the central points of interest, Riviere is a location that brings a new air to the restaurants of the city. It is a indoor/outdoor type location, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal, with fresh and healthy products.
We had a most enjoyable evening with family and friends at Riviere. The space adjacent to the Bega canal was very inviting and the pleasant breeze on a hot July evening was welcomed. Food quality was uniformly very good to excellent. Each member of our party was able to find entrees they liked given the wide variety of options on their Mediterranean menu. We found pricing to be attractive. We definitely plan on visiting them on our next visit to Timisoara. The service was excellent.

The place looks pretty interesting and has a nice garden. Food menu is very small and doesn't have a lot of options, no soups for example, also prices seem a little bit high. I had a Grilled turkey breast, rosemary potatoes & spinach-basil pesto (39 lei) and while it had an interesting plating, the taste was noting spectacular, felt like the plate was missing something, maybe some sauce would have helped as the breast can get dull to eat. I also tasted the Fresh pasta with fennel, ham and parmesan (39 lei) and it was pretty good, had an interesting taste. The pasta had actually chicken breast and not ham, the english menu is translated wrong. The chicken breast pices were good but were cut too big, I would have made them smaller. The French racks lamb cutlet & rosemary potatoes (59 lei) looked also very nice, much better cooked then in most places and it also came with a salad. Still, found the lamb taste a bit too intense, I would add some more sauce to it as the plate seem kind of dry. Also, there were some strange roots on the plate which I couldn't eat, not sure if they were just part of the plating but I would have replace it with something else. For dessert we share a Deconstructed cheesecake (22 lei) which looked pretty interesting but had way too little cheese cream and too much crackers, not much of a cheesecake in my book. Was not bad tho, the cheese cream had a nice taste but the quantity was too small.Overall, we had a nice dinner, we enjoyed more the atmosphere rather then the food, my rating is 3.6 / 5 stars.

Restaurant Caruso has a menu inspired from international cuisines.
We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day here and had a lovely dinner. Prices have gone up a bit since last time we went but food is still very good. Plating is different, not bad but used to like it better before and also there are no more edible flowers so maybe they changed the chef.I had the Rabbit (85 lei) and my wife the Sea Bass (81 lei), both really good, perfectly cooked. We also had Opera (30 lei) for dessert but was not very impressed, wasn't bad but not amazing. Overall, still one of the best Restaurant in the city but also one of the most expensive ones.

I was still working (now I'm in retirement),when i visited first time Casa del Sole.It happened about ten years ago.Till today, when I celebrate a family anniversary my first option is this restaurant. Not far from the center, quiet ambience, gentle staff, good food, low bar music.Could be even romantic! My preferred menu :Uniqum as appetizer, salmon,or tunny fish salad, veal liver with onions, baked potatoes, wild mushrooms, dry rose wine from Recas,or Dealul Mare, but could be also beef a la Firenze! They prepare also a very appreciated pizza.Ice cream with fruits,or pancake as dessert and one bottle of Prosecco.

Cozy place, freshly designed, in the historical center of Timisoara, the famous Unirii Market, serving grills, steaks, hamburgers, tapas, pizza, soups... everything cooked in ovens with charcoal or wood. The bar is offering different type of draft beers,
The meal in Pepper was the best of my four day stay in Timisoara. It was also my most expensive meal, at 78 leu (GB£15.60) in total, but very good value at that. Classic cheese burger with a side order of grilled mushrooms from which you could smell the charcoal, washed down with good Romanian red Bacanta wine. The square was positively heaving on this Friday night, with open air entertainment as part of an arts festival, resulting in the restaurant being particularly busy. Therefore, although initial service and food delivery was rapid, the considerable delay in settling the bill was understandable. Staff were consistently friendly, and a few conveniently spoke good English - because the small number of Romanian words and phrases that I have managed to put together over four days wasn't sufficient to ensure basic nourishment.

The restaurant has a lovely terrace so we made the most of the Indian summer! We started by tasting a few delicious Romanian wines and then added a pleasant meal. The waitresses were very professional and friendly. It was our last night in Timisoara so we wanted something a little special, and VinTo turned out to be a good option.
