We prepare our dishes in a Josper Charcoal Oven!
During the work week, high value and filling lunch specials (which changed each day) really fueled us. Great price for schnitzel and coffee at outdoor tables. Good service. Clean bathroom.

This place seems to attract a crowd even on weekdays. There is a full bar on one side and a very up-styled dining room on the other. We went twice and had excellent meals both times - steak, lamb chops, burgers - all were well prepared, ample and nicely presented. But my favorite was the goat cheese salad - excellent!!

The second floor of the Kvartal Centre is home to V Café, a cosy and romantic Parisian café. Its delicious dishes are prepared in chef Mihkel Manglusâ kitchen just as carefully as in the top restaurant Joyce. The café is adapted to the fast pace of urban
V looks as a the piece sign, but here it probably stands for the word very.. (no, i know it really is for âveeâ, Estonian for water). Either way, it describes what to expect here from a cocoa drink or coffee - very watery. There are other things âveryâ here, like very salty salads and breadspread or very long time for preparing food. Not all negative though. From our group of 10, those ordering pasta appeared satisfied. Also, dishes are nicely decorated and service is polite and pleasant. Room also looks nice.Hello!Thank You very much for leaving this honest review, it means a lot to us! We are glad to hear that You were satisfied with our service and atmosphere, although we are truly sorry to hear that You had to wait for Your food that long. Usually, our kitchen staff is quite fast but sometimes it tends to get busy and unfortunately some foods take more time. We are also sorry to hear that You found our drinks to be watery, we can assure You that we use quality blends for our coffee and our staff has completed courses on coffee brewing. We hope that even though You were not fully satisfied this time, that You will give us another chance to show You what we can really offer! We are looking forward to Your next visit!Kind regardsV Café team

The Antonius restaurant's vaulted arch ceilings are adorned with rare frescoes and its atrium recreates the elegant atmosphere of a rose garden. Seating up to 42 diners, the restaurant is the perfect place for intimate dinners for two, birthdays, corporat
This hotel restaurant seems to be resting on its laurels. We went for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was mostly empty. However given the experience we had we are not surprised. The restaurant is underground and really needs to be refurbished. I suspect they think the décor is elegant but itâs just dated. The menu is short. Just a choice of main courses, which I suspect is not to waste too much food due to having so few guests. We both went for lamb. There appeared to be some vegetables and garnish described on the menu to accompany the lamb and so we asked if we could order some potatoes as we thought this didnât seem to be enough. We were told there were no side dishes or potatoes available but that the vegetables would be enough. Unfortunately, this was wrong. The meal was served in a soup bowl and comprised four thin strips of lamb tenderloin with a few carrots and parsnips with a tart blueberry sauce. For Eu 24 I would really hope for more food. The food was ok, but really nothing special but we were left hungry due to the small size of the portions. I really resent stinginess in restaurants and what really upsets me is leaving a restaurant hungry.Fortunately, our daughterâs pasta dish from the childâs menu was a good sized portion, so we ate this. So, my recommendation if you go to Antonius, ask for the Childrenâs Menu.Dear guest,Thank you for the review. We read with great sadness that your expectations were not met and that it seems like we have stopped to put effort into improvement. We strive to be the best and we are constantly working for it. We will take your comment in consideration to improve our job and we hope that you will visit us again so that we would have an opportunity to improve your opinion about our restaurant.Kind regards,Restaurant Antonius team

Chocolaterie de Pierre was established with great care and love for everyone who appreciates sweets! Pierre is a real café in the truest sense of the word where you can hear the clinking of coffee cups and the pleasant hum of conversation, and also enjoy
Sort of funky decor with the most appealing being the last room you encounter which is white tablecloth and more intimate than the other options. Service is prompt and friendly but can slow down dramatically when a larger table has a course delivered. The food, when it comes, is pretty good and portions are large. So, if you are hungry, youâll do better here than some of the âgourmetâ options which provide designer appearance and just a nibble of food.

Hõlm is a restaurant with a world-class menu and outstanding service at which everyone feels welcome. What makes the restaurant special is the fact that its kitchen is completely open, creating a direct link with diners. The restaurant uses exciting techn
This restaurant was located in our hotel, so very convenient. It is a beautiful restaurant, very spacious and nicely decorated. It also hosts an outside seating area just on the base of Toome hill.We ordered:- Beef tongue: This was recommend by the waiter and it was good. Interesting and appealing texture.- Eel: the best of the two appetizers- Lamb: pefectly cooked and rather generous portion, very good dish- Zander: very soft and delicately served. Delicious dish- Rhubarb dessert: not too much rhubarb in the dish... which is a shame. Tasted good nevertheless- Chocolate : How not to like chocolate !?The service was the most memorable aspect of our experience, though. From start to finish it was perfect and had all the little touches that make you feel like you are a VIP.The prices are good, although the mains are a bit pricey in our opinion. But as the food is good, you won't feel you are ripped off. And this is a hotel restaurant, so prices are always a bit higher. We would warmly recommend.

Had the fried Herring and then the Pike/Perch and both were beautifully presented and very tasty. Accompanied by home made rye bread and hospitable and attentive service I would thoroughly recommend this excellent restaurant, if you in Tartu definitely put this on your list for places to visit for food

I am not a fan of hotel restaurants. As we stayed in the hotel, we decided to have a dinner in the hotel. It was better than expected. Good service, not overpriced wine and good menu and food. So, if you are in the hotel or in Lounakeskus, good place for lunch or dinner, when not planning to go to city centre.Dear customer, thank you for sheering you feedback on Tripadvisor. We are happy to know that you recomend our restaurant for other hotel visitors. We are glad that you were pleased with restaurant and we hope to see you again soon! Kind regards, restaurant FII

Joyce is one of the most creative restaurants in Estonia. There is no doubt about it. It combines the two essential components in the world of enjoyment. First of these is choice. Choice between good and better. Choice between exquisite and exceptional. C
One night stay in Tartu and where to eat? A quandary but look no further than this excellent restaurant which offers superb food, service and atmosphere at very reasonable prices. The waitress served us speaking knowledgeably about the dishes and in a manner behoven to a Michelin rated restaurant. The food that followed was beautifully presented and tasted superb. Highly recommend it and although we showed up without booking suspect thatâs necessary on weekends.Hello!Thank you for such kind and lovely review, we appreciate it a lot! We are so glad to hear that you had such a nice dinner and enjoyed our service and foods! We believe that it is always more interesting when you know what is on the plate and it is nice to hear that you appreciated that! We do reccommend to have a booking (even during workdays) when planning a dinner and we hope that it is just around the corner!Warm regards,JOYCE restaurant
