Took a group of 6 colleagues here, while this is probably not exactly your business dinner restuarant, as it is more of a romantic styled establishment, it was great. The decor is really very nice, all is balanced, nothing over the top, truly well laid out, seating is comfortable, air conditioning just right. We had all different starters and main courses from the menu, and everybody agreed that the entire meal was great, nobody had any bad comments on any of the dishes. The speciality is the Rock Lobster tail and the steak combo, mine was great and well grilled. The owner served us, she was friendly, attentive and service was very good, she waited on the table the whole time, poured our wine, water, cleared the table etc. I recommend you visit this place for a great meal. Thank you Cirano and Julliete, we had a great evening.
Good food (never had a bad meal here, so at least they're consistent). The service is good, you don't have to wait to long. They have some great cocktail and most importantly the prices are reasonable.
E'tembe Rainforest offers all the products from the interior of Suriname on your plate. We serve our food with a twist. You'll be surprised by the taste and the presentation. Please visit our unique restaurant and experience the Surinamese hospitality.

We stopped here for a quick lunch that turned everything but quick. On the good side, the place is very touristy oriented and you can sit outside which is very nice. Also, the food was good and they provide a mix of Surinamese food with traditional salads and sandwiches. The staff is very nice and attentive but hour food took hours to arrive. We were lucky we had some extra time but this was quite an extreme delay. They offered and apology but I think it was so late they would have needed to offer a complimentary coffee or desert in top of an apology.

The best restaurant we have dinned in during our 2 weeks in South America.Menu is interesting as we were selecting only how many courses meal we would like to order and type of meal: veggie, meat, chicken or fish. The rest is depending on chef. We have ordered 2 course meal: me starter and fish main and my friend dessert and the meat main meal. The Chef apparently could guess our taste as we would not be able to chose better. We have also selected wine program - we got glass of white and glass of red wine accompanying our 2 course meal. With our main courses we were served 3 sides. Besides the food I need to mention amazing location of the restaurant. All was great - I would visit again if I would be staying longer in Paramaribo....

This certainly was a good place to sit and have a sun-downer. Food was not bad either. At first they had only very little beer for not so good a price, but for some reason, later on they ordered some big bottles, which was in time for our dinner too. Wine was not on the drink menu, but for about $4, I got a glass of not so good wine.We ordered shrimps in vegetables and spare ribs. We were supposed to get cassava wedges, but they never appeared on the table. We had potato wedges, so we never asked for cassava chips. Spare ribs were a bit too sweet, but shrimps were good. Our waitress was very nice an helpful. All in all, it was a good evening.

The resort is a half hour drive from Paramaribo. Great riverside location. Buildings are artistically designed and tastefully furnished. Materials are locally-sourced.The service staff at the restaurant are attentive and very friendly. Established only a year ago, the resort shows a lot of promise in making itself a highly credible spa: the resort needs an experienced spa manager who can oversee schedules and ensure that everybody is aware of the customers' request. We arrived at the spa and there was no receptionist to walk us through the process (ie show the facilities, what comes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, how long each session goes, meal arrangements etc). It would be helpful if customers are made to fill in a questionnaire of dietary restrictions, health concerns and expectations. The reception can then pass that info on to the rest of the staff. It would be convenient if there are changing rooms and lockers to keep our things. Food at the restaurant was indulgent and delicious. The owners have done a great deal to get to this stage and we wish them success as they continue to refine details of the spa. We look forward to coming back.

Part of Oxygen Resort, you look out at the pool and gardens as you enjoy great service and a taste of finer dining. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. We all had filet mignon or the T-bone steaks which were nicely seared according to everyone's preference and served with a choice of stir fry veggies (which were very nice and not overcooked) or potatoes.

Really enjoyed my dinner at Las Tias... and it sure seemed as though everyone around me was as well. Super friendly staff, especially at the bar where I ate my dinner and downed several Mojitos. I ordered a few small dishes and everything was really perfect in presentation and zest. It was a Friday night and the place was quite packed, so I'd recommend going early or reserving a table if possible. I understand it is open early in the day as well for lunch and there certainly are a number of dishes priced accordingly for lunch.Only complaint would be no menus in English... but you can get around that easily enough. Just might have missed something really cool or unique. I will see this is not a unique complaint in the area as many restaurants seem to not have any English menus.

We enjoyed a lot of different dishes. Tomato soup, shrimps, bread, chicken, fries etc. and it was both tasting and cheap!
