We had a nice dinner here. The food was ok, not extraordinary, but that is just like this hotel-restaurant. The area with lots of hills is beautiful. And the staff is very friendly.

The Geulhof is situated in a pleasant location for a Summer drink and perhaps a sandwich on the terrace. On this occasion we opted to eat dinner in the restaurant. We found the food below average with cheap quality meats. Good if you're looking for volume at relatively cheap prices. To be avoided if you are looking for any sort of quality!

In this little and quiet village lies a nice restaurant. Itâs a little drive from Maastricht. If it is a sunny day you can use the terrace at the water. On the otherside of the water is Belgium. Relaxed atmoshere and friendly staff. Food and drinks are very good.

This place is temporarily closed. It reopens on March 13th, 2019.
Was here with wife and two small kids. Lunch food was typical Dutch sandwiches but still with a local touch. Super friendly staff. Nice old place that looked like a kitsch museum but with also with nice outside terraces. Kids loved it. Quality vs price is a very good place!

For us always a place to come back, sometimes just to drink something and enjoy the view sometimes for diner or lunch. The food is typically "Limburgs" with an international touch. The food is great and the staff friendly. A nice place to start & end your walkings in the forrest.

Quite ofgten we go to this wonderful town in the deep south of the Netherlands, however for reasons unknown we neglected this hotel-restaurant, formerly known as "La Bonne Auberge" for over twenty years... The setting is still the same, it seems to be a kind of nature reserve as far as the eye can see, as nothing has changed, at least around the building. "Slenakervallei" changed, of course, the interiordesign, cut down on major and big names on the winelist, simplified the menu to common sense food (in the old days this place struggled to get stars and toques, but in vain). The food attracts a wider clientele, is pricewise far more abbordable (as are the wines). A good bet to have dinner or lunch while passing by. However if you're staying here as a hotel-guest I can imagine you run out of gourmet options on the menu soon. We had good starters and mains, the sweets rather cater for people who want to keep it simple and normal. Slightly overpriced for what you get, but then again it ain't expensive in the first place. So, don't worry go inside and dine.

We had previously stayed here 3 years ago and enjoyed the food then. The repeat experience was no disappointment. Friendly service, nice choice of wines and an amazing menu, based on a South African theme with spring bok and other unusual meats. The food just melted on the toungue. Normal meats / fish are also on the menu fo rhte less adventerous. We will go back next time we are in the area.

We stopped there for lunch halfway through a beautiful hike between Fourons le Compte and Noorbeek. We chose the blood pudding croquettes and the Stilton salad for the main courses and the gourmand coffee and a dame blanche for dessert. They were all very tasty with obviously fresh ingredients and nicely presented. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere inside very old Dutch. We loved it.We paid 55 eur for both of us including two beers : very reasonable taking account of the quality.

During our stay at Klein Zwitserland we had lunch here once and two dinners. Everything tasted very well, the entrees, the mains and the desserts, accompanied by a very good bottle of wine selected by the staff. Staff friendly and helpful, atmosphere great and locals come on Sunday night to enjoy their dinner as well. Great terrace with a lovely view
