Stopped for drinks on the terrace of the Berggasthaus Steinerkogl . The views were amazing as the terrace overlooked the valley and surrounding area. The service was excellent and very friendly, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food looked and smelt wonderful but on this occasion we had just finished a packed lunch earlier. We would like to return on our next visit to Mayrhofen to sample the food.
Booked for Family, [sadly the booking wasn't found but fortunately a table was available], so varied diet required and we weren't disappointed. The waitress was very helpful and efficient. The menu caters for all tastes, if anything there was too much choice, we had everything from Steaks to pasta. All the food was cooked well and the portions were very large to fill a man sized appetite. Those of us that could eat a dessert were very happy with the choice and flavour. Recommended and we would definitely revisit.

As we were staying at an aparthotel, we spent the Christmas Eve in the restaurant of this very nice hotel. Everything was very good: the food, the service, the atmosphere. They even had prepared small gifts for the children. Our 5-year old boy was very happy with the small toy he received.

Loved the nice nacks on the walls, great goulash soup, really friendly hosts. Relaxed and faultless.

This place is wonderful. A little more expensive than others but well worth it. It was near Michelin star quality. If you reserve a table with a small deposit you receive a nice little appetiser. We went twice it was so good. Can highly recommend the linguine, burger and fillet steak! Nice fine wines especially if you have a few thousand euros to spare, although some very reasonably priced ones too. Canât wait to go again. Highly recommended.Thank you very much Lisa, we really appreciate your words. Best Regards from the whole Team and the Family.

Went here on a Sunday night when other restaurants are closed. So it was very busy. Service was fine but the food for me was over cooked so dry. May be a one off but could not tell without going back. Service was fine.Hi Steve, thank you for taking the time to write to us about your dining experience in our restaurant. Yes we was very busy on Sunday night but finally we will not let that happen again. If you look at all our reviews you will see that your experience is an exception. Please give us a chance to show you, that we can do it better. We look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future.Best wishesBerg&Tal Team

We came on our first night and stuck with this restaurant during our whole trip. Nice atmosphere, quick and polite service, good option for acceptable prices- what more would you want? Food is simple but there's a free salad bar which is definitely a good healthy option. Looking forward to our reservation tomorrow for Sylvester evening!

Brasserie Q in the heart of Mayrhofen - a melting pot with great atmosphere, modern design and good music. We serve regional and seasonal fine food like steaks, burgers, pasta and salads, as well as a special range of wine, gin and cocktails.
Great steak, a little overcooked for medium rare perhaps but delicious none the less. Great sides and fabulous cocktails. Staff are professional, not overly friendly and take themselves very seriously but itâs a nice restaurant with a great ambiance, lovely menu and a great selection of proper cocktails. The ambient live DJ brings something unique to the dining experience. We went back for cocktails a few nights, itâs the opposite to the Ice Bar in terms of an evening out!

While we enjoyed eating at traditional restaurants in Mayrhofen, for a vegetarian especially, Goldkind was such a delight. Modern cuisine with fresh ingredients - just delightful. We came here more than once. The burgers were fab, coffee and cakes also amazing. Had we been staying longer we would undoubtedly have returned again. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
