We only tried the Dessert as we were all stuffed with fantastic dishes but greedy enough to have another round that afternoon. Although I only tried the wonderful Mascapone Cream with Raspberrysauce and Rabenhorstberry Ice Cream, I could imagine how excellent Chef Neumann (under the management of Wolfgang Steinheuer aka the Resto's Owner) as we could see the happy faces carrying food from Köhlerhof's Stand. The 4 * is for the Dessert, wouldnt be a mission impossible to up grade it to 5 * once we had the oppotunity to try the main course next time. :D
Direkt am Rhein gelegen, bietet Cafe Promenade eine Entspannung nach einem schönen Wandertag.Preise sind im Durchschnitt und die Bedienung nett.
Wow! Wonderfully fresh, all home made with care and attention! Very friendly personnel and fine dining for reasonable price! Recommended!
Kebabs there are delicious! The pizzas are also great! Friendly smile and food comes quickly! Definitely worth the visit! and also very cheap!

Ambiance? Imagine sitting in a moderately but sufficiently lit, warm cozy place, a real candle in front of you (none of that LED imitation stuff) and gazing over the dark river Rhine to the other shore. It's magical ;-)Service is excellent and attentive.Food? The vinaigrette on the side salad is to die for ! The Kalbsschnitzel was very good. The French fries were a bit on the dry side ;-( Drink? Rioja as the house wine! Can't beat that, LOL.Overall: the atmosphere & view more than make up for the dry fries.I'm looking forward to eat here again.

we were in Restaurant at Monday evening.7 o'clock the restaurant was full.the menü is fair, not a lot of food but good aligned. There was one special offer for that day also.Athmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasurable.nice music, beautiful laid tables.water was friendly.Service was ok.Price is correct, not cheap but for this quality ok.we had little problem mit food or service....we don't know who made mistake.my husband ordered this special offer.that was Duckbreast with brokkoli und mashed potazo.he ordered him meat rosa(medium) and he got well done breast.Breast was not good roast, skin of the breast was nerly raw and otherside if the meat was burn.i ordered fish but i changed my garnish because i had lactose allergy.i got my food the normal garnish nit what i want.the taste was very good and looked very good.not the best restaurant where i ever was but we come back again.

This most attractive building dominates the Market Place and rightly so. It is at the very hub of this beautiful village of Erpel. Sorry, we can't comment on the food. I'm sure others have done so though. Well worth coming over on the regular ferry from Remagen (3 euros return) to explore the narrow streets, after having entered through a short tunnel opposite the landing stage. Lovely and peaceful when we were there. Also the station, which is only a 5 minutes walk up from the left of Om Maat is very useful for any trips along the east bank.
