A warehouse cafe that has been remodeled in style! Parking lot complete A cafe was born in a stylish space that was a renovation of the old starch factory. We recommend the potato fritz, which brings out the taste of the material by carefully processing N

Great hidden gem using local produce. Very creative chef who prepares excellent food. Every time I've eaten here I've not been disappointed. It's open for dinner from 4pm to 10pm daily. Also open for breakfast but only for guests staying at the Lodge.

Boasting 50 years of tradition from Kutchan, Yukitei Niseko Restaurant brings authentic Hokkaido cuisine from the farm and sea to the table. Our signature Gosetsu Udon is made from 100% Kutchan potatoes and bathed in the family's secret dashi stock. Melt
Great lunch menu. We ordered the tempura prawn rice bowl and the deluxe sashimi/seafood rice bowl. Both were phenomenal! We also ordered a tray/box of uni (sea urchin) which was 10,000 yen but it was worth it. Super sweet and no nasty seafood aftertaste like some uni has. We went back the second day because the food and quality was so good! Weâre definitely coming back on our next visit!

With beautiful views of Mt. Yotei, Melt, Bar and Grill offers guests a superb selection of local and imported cuts of prime beef, seafood and more in a chic, effortless dining environment.
My family and I stayed at the hotel where Melt is located. Naturally, we had lunch and dinner there. The food was good and plenty. Waiters were attentive to customers. Lunch is definitely best value but dinner was a bit expensive. It is a family friend place.

This is an excellent restaurant in all respects. The dinner is top notch and a little pricey but worth it. They do weekday lunch specials which are excellent value and you would normally pay double for the meals offered including Pork, Salmon, Pasta, Venison or Steak during August, from 1200 JPY, and add 600 to include salad, soup and dessert. There are free flow teas and bread table. It's a lovely venue and staff are professional and discreet. Top notch !

This is your standard fusion buffet-style dining with the regular Western foods mixed with some Asian cuisine. You have selections from the entire food pyramid, and fresh salads, breads, juice are all there for the healthy eater. The quality of the fruits were a bit disappointing, if they weren't of the local winter season variety (apples and grapes). Continental breakfast foods such as bacon, sausages, and eggs were there, but were not very authentic. And by authentic, I mean crispy bacon done right, real pork sausages not mini dogs, eggs that weren't mixed from powder. Most travelers in Asia (there were some mainlanders) probably can't tell the difference but for those from the US, we love our bacon! Cereal, hot foods, cappuccino, yogurt, are all there, along with a great view of the slopes. Decor: 4 Service: 3 Food: 3 Value: 2
Where to eat Barbecue food in Rankoshi-cho: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We ordered beef A vs beef B set menu but also order an additional a la carte beef steak. The waiter found another front desk guy to take the order because he spoke very limited english. Since the restaurant seemes very good a beef or steak dishes given they offered a set menu to compare beef A vs beef B, I asked what kind of beef steak would the a la carte be. He replied it should be australian beef and it costed yen1944. Then I asked if it should be waygu? He said waygu only produced in japan and he did not know the marble M grading in aus beef vs A grading in japanese beef. The ala cart steak only served at the end after 1.5 hr when we planned to leave while we putting on our shoes. We asked for medium rare but it came well done. The shape was strange . Pic attached.Good service but never order a la carte. Too stretchy for the preprogramme die hard system.Normally we would mention to staff that the steak is over cooked against our specification but the restaurant was understaff and we could not find anyone.
