We visited this restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the fish cakes and fish tacos, although the taco shell was a bit stale and would have benefited from reheating in the oven. We enjoyed a glass or two of wine with our dinner too. We came back for breakfast and found this better than that offered by our hotel, although the bread is a little too sweet for our tastes. Quite quirky but (comparatively speaking) good cappuccinos and friendly service. Thank you for your review We will take on board your comment about the taco shell, we have just started using these instead of the soft ones we used prior to these. Most breads here in Palawan are much sweeter than ânormalâ bread unfortunately however we hope to make our own bread in the near future.

I was hoping for good value for money, but sadly didnât get it in deep forest wine bar and restaurant. Tacky decor, Manila high prices and nothing good enough to be noteworthy. Lots of better places to eat in puerto.

We had our accommodation in one of the beautiful cottage in Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort and one night we decided to have our dinner at the Resort's restaurant, the Pawikan. The service is fantastic, waiters are really kind and do their best to help you, the place is awesome and the food so tasty, especially the crispy squid and the Daluyon cake! Obviously it's not cheap, compared to other restaurants you could find in this area, but if you are looking for a special dinner, this is your place!

Amazing food. What a great place to have some quality food. Fresh and hot. What a shame that the service is so slow and the food takes such a long time to arrive. FYI we ordered starters as we want them to start with. We dont want them with our mains.

Hearty, healthy food cooked with fine ingredients for a memorable dining experience. Available for reservations any day of the week (including Saturday) 10:30am-10:00pm.
Service was great! So nice, friendly and polite girls working there. We stayed at the hotel and ate in Fat Tonyâs 2 nights. Must say that first impression was better than second. Noodles and ribs were good! But next night, if there more people, service was slower and donât try the fish dishes! We took 2 different and they were bad! Like eating the shoes. Sorry, but true! Would recommend hotel though:).Thank you for the honest review :)I'm sorry you didn't like the fish. The local fish that we're using at the moment is a type of marlin. It's very dense and "meaty", quite unlike temperate-climate fish which tend to be light and flaky. However we will follow up your comment to ensure the fish isn't being overcooked.

The place was empty at around 2 pm when we went there for lunch. We waited a bit for someone to attend to us. But it was worth it. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended!

Inspired by flavors from around the world our aim is to create simple, comforting and delicious food in our cozy resto.
Staying just a few doors down and reading such high praises/reviews, we had to give Feisty Chefa go. We were not disappointed in any way duringour numerous visits in our short stay in Puerto.Everything we tried was very fresh and delicious. Our favorites being the 'Canadian Poutine' althoughthe Thai and German was quite nice also. The rib eye was well worth the peso spent..the beef comesfroms a highly regarded angus farm out of the US.The salad entails organic greens and is a goodsize to satisfy any salad lover. We enjoyed our meals to the point wherewe went back the next few days afterwardswhile craving what we had just experienced. The service/value is on point.Keep up the great work! You run a tight outfit.Hope to see you next time when in town.Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.Western standards throughout the menu, and is my top choice in Puerto
