Find out what International restaurants to try in Puerto Morelos. Puerto Morelos, a peaceful village on the Mayan Riviera, is a place to experience the genuine Yucatan. Puerto Morelos makes an excellent base if you’re looking for someplace quieter than glitzy hotspots like Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Government eco-reserve designations protect the reef and mangroves—and the village itself—from development. Outdoor options range from thrilling jungle and diving adventures to serene bike rides or moped explorations.

Nowhere do you receive the combination of excellent food, outstanding service, world class entertainment at a price that any traveler can afford. Puerto Morelos. The Salmon was extraordinary. Their Spaghetti Bolognese tended to be dry, as in meaty with very, very little sauce. Portions were of medium size. A good wine by the bottle list, by the glass is much more restrictive. With 3 reds and 3 whites. A bit disappointing. If you, like me, prefer dinner without music, you will not find it here. While it is jazzy soft, I just do not like hearing it while I eat. Coupled with in house musicians, street singers with amplified sound appeared. My worst experience so far in this city. Not at all the restaurants fault, just my preference. I would go back to several others before coming back here.

When we are in PM, my girlfriend and I practically live on fish and shrimp tacos. So when we saw that there was a new place, we had to give it a try. We wanted to eat there before going to Pescadores Craft Brewery. Took a collectivo to the 307 highway where Captain Kay is located. We ordered 2 fish and 2 shrimp tacos. We were the only ones there so it didn't take long. After placing our order, the people working the counter showed us their fixing bar and explained the many different sauces they supply. Our order cam out and we headed to the fixing bar to pile it on. They were really good tacos. Fish was deep fried in a nice breading, the shrimp in a thicker tempura batter. That was the only minor complaint. Will still go there again next year. We want to try their fish and chips.

This great little restaurant was recommended to us by Martine who owned her own Italian Restaurant near the the bookstore in Pto M's town square. You have to go into La Colonia several blocks past the Super Chedraui, then turn right and go three blocks. We had a couple of dishes, the most amazing was the mixito which was beef shorribs cooked in an aluminum foil pouch. The tasty meat was absolutely melting away and falling off the bones. We sat outside (one table) and there were four tables inside. While we sat awaiting our meal there were several cars that pulled up to pick up their food to go.... this is definitely a gem and a favorite of the locals....... another great spot and local favorite is Los Patojos just three blocks east of Chedraui... it has the greatest and hugest Burritos that we have ever had the pleasure of eatingNos sentimos muy contentos de saber lo que opina sobre nuestro pequeño restaurante, es realmente motivador leer este tipo de opiniones.
