Weâve been to Tamarindo many times but just discovered this gem of a cafe (itâs on the second floor of a building set back a bit from Calle Central). A variety of tasty breakfasts and lunches (the homemade banana bread French toast is to die for), refreshing smoothies, and a cheery decor with indoor and shaded outdoor seating make it a lovely spot for breakfast/lunch. The barrista is superb and makes the most delicious almond milk cappuccinos Iâve ever had (soooo much better than Starbucks). I love this place!!

we were on holiday in costa rica recently and i wanted to find somewhere nice to take my new wife for her birthday, after a search on trip advisor i found Che Sirloin, what a lovely place this is, i booked our table for the evening of 28th june through facebook. All so easy, when we got there we immediatly felt comfortable and welcomed. There is a really nice ambience to the place, we chose an outside table. we had a really great steak dinner with drinks and it all came to just over $50, brilliant. The owners even messaged me the next day thanking us for our patronage and generous tip. we had hoped to go back before we flew back to London, but things didn,t pan out, if you are in coco beach definatly give Che Sirloin a look, you will not be sorry.Than you for your kindness Guy. My husband and I went for dinner and I have to say it was REALLY good. We had 2 smoked salmon croquets, 2 pinchos each of smoked sea bass and chirizo with cheese and then we shared a ration of their Cajun sea bass with potatoes alioli and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent! The sea bass was salty but that just fine with me! They also brought us a starter tapa at no charge. The bill came to about $50 Canadian. The service and the timing of the plates were perfect and we left fully satisfied.

This family run Villa sports the BEST restaurant in Costa Rica. Patrick, the Chef is phenomenal and has cooked for royalty and many US Presidentâs.The food is exquisite, perfectly executed and incredible tasting. Dean (Patrickâs son) loves to fish and the specialty of the day is always his catch. Fantastic family, super friendly (you are welcomed like an old friend) , we went twice and could have ate there again and again. Simply the BEST! Thank you!

We had a mixed meat plate of grilled chicken and beef. It came with french fries and vegetables. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was enough on the plate for me and my husband, and enough to take home for another meal. The service was very good. I especially like the decor that gave me that "big city" feel like New York of Chicago. I felt transcended. The restaurant offers live music many nights and you should check to see when they do and join in.Dear Shirley,Greetings from Liberia Social! We were a family of 4 and Monique and Andre were fantastic hosts that provided a unique dining experience in their beautiful home! The food experience ranged from black caviar on white chocolate to a quail egg on caramelized onions. They also offered many different types of wine that paired nicely with each meal. We all left full and very satisfied! I would highly recommend this if you are looking to try different foods outside of the typical Costa Rican seafood. We had a great time!

We didn't actually dine in, but picked up some amazing mahi mahi steaks and jumbo prawns to bbq at our Air BnB. The quality was amazing, the price was right and the service was fantastic. We'd planned on a dinner stop one night, but after a long day at the beach, pulled the plug - very unfortunate, as it looked absolutely amazing! Definitely give this place a try when in town.

What a gem right outside the gates of hacienda pinilla. So far have eaten here twice during our ten day stay. First time everyone got fish and they ran out right at my order (sigh) so we came back a second time. Everything is awesome on the menu and they even made me a special fish plate as requested a salad and fish. Considering the prices inside the gates this place is worth the five minute trek.
