MACEDONIAN HOUSE The national restaurants '' MAKEDONSKA KUKA '' are the most authentic symbol of the Macedonian spirit in the catering industry. They represent sorts of restaurants-museums settled in the comfort of ambient buildings, enriched with pricele
I have been Makedonski Kujka patron for years. One thing I like about this place is constancy of their service and good food.Food is always fresh, and service is with a smile.Shirlene is a Prilep local dish, and is similar to Scotlandâs Haggis this place make it to perfection. Also their Skara ( grill) is one of the best, specially âveshalicaâ the meat is marinated so the poke is not dry and stringy, but sacullent and tender. The maze paltter is good and enough to be a light lunch instead of a starter, which is to be shared between few ppl.Garden has a huge shade, lots of space to sit and enjoy, they even have kids corners with all kinds of toys for them.Inside decor is like Macedonian house of bygone era with nice collection of folk costumes adorning the walls. All in all old favourite with excellent food and service

I really liked tge idea of trying twisted Macedonian cooking but after a hard drive from Ohrid I was really disappointed. Spaghetti Bolognese were just a joke - minced meat bathed in ketchup. Not kidding it was really lije a soup. I have eaten such kind of pasta 25 years ago in Bulgaria. Nothing to do with the genuine touch of aldente. Pizza was simply overcheesed, unfortunately with local cheese that tastes rather edamler and is sort of soury creamish, with ketchup again. Poor try!
The restaurant is a part from Hotel Atlas City Center. The restaurant is set on the 4th floor of the building and it has the most breath taking view from the mountains, part of the city and Marko`s Towers. The restaurant serves all type of food prepared w
This is quite an ordinary hotel, but a good ordinary hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The (2nd floor) room was large, with a roomy and well functioning shower, and a view over the bazaar, the clock tower and the mountains behind. The restaurant had the same view from higher up. We ate three times in the restaurant, and it was fine. We had the "healthy breakfast", a very substantial helping of muesli. We didn't heel ready for the Macedonian version of a full English brexit, I mean breakfast. [Price for 2 with breakfast, 39 euros, end May] Dear Ashleydourdan. We appreciate your positive feedback about our hotel and restaurant. We do take pride in catering to our guests' needs the best way we can. If you're traveling to our area gain soon, don't hesitate to call us. Kind regards Emilija A.
This place is just average hotel's restaurant, nothing special. Food is ok, nothing spectacular. Until the moment when you see that everybody is eating soup early in the morning. Decision to try it was one om my best decisions in last several months. It was JUST GREAT..! Soup is something special, fantastic. So good, that is worth to drive hour or two to come over and try it.
Dropped into Salida (near the university) for a snack and drinks on the afternoon of September 21. The restaurant was empty, staff saw us sit down and the we waited and waited and waited. No one bothered to serve us and we walked out looking at the staff sitting around drinking and talking to each other. Poor service.
