If you have ethic and wanna eat good food: donât go there. This guy was the most « pretentious - love myself - listen to the sound of my own voice » person I have probably ever met. First almost nothing was available on the menu except burgers and kurakkan roti. We had juices (nice juices) and a kurakkan roti. For 500, the roti came with nothing, that was tasteless and we ask for lots of avocado on it and we could barely feel the extra thin layer of avocado. We were still really hungry afterwards. When we told him at the end that the juices were nice but we were disappointed by the food which had no taste and almost nothing on it for such an expensive price he said first he was concerned to listen. Well, sounded great first someone who can reexamine his new business and wants to make improvement. Then he said that if we did not like the food we didnât have to pay it, which is a nice commercial gesture. All this blablabla just to finally get angry and took the entire money which was on the table. This guy has absolutely no value, he is an impostor. If you want a nice place to eat healthy food go to the Karma Gardens and avoid Garden Grow, we learnt that this guy stole all the menu and recipes from them. You donât want to support such a hypocrite concept and feel this vibes while you having food. Also, my friend is coeliac we ask if there was no gluten and he just answer âof course not we are only veganâ, well obviously thatâs such a big plagia what he did he does not even know whatâs vegan or gluten or whatever he just know how to rip off people I guess.

We stopped by for breakfast and dinner over our time in Arugam Bay. Both meals were great and quite different from what you normally see in Sri Lanka. That dinner tonight was one of our biggest fails! My partner and I are absolute foodies and we love all different kinds of cuisines but our dinner tonight was far away from being acceptable. It started with the mango juice which was packed with added sugar (in my opinion fruit juice contains enough natural sugar no need to add tons of extra sugar!). The tuna steak weâve ordered was ok but more on the dry side and weirdly chopped into 7 pieces (???) The chips were horribly greasy and the fat tasted old - The salad on the plate was not enjoyable either. Anyway, was weâre more fan of local food than chips lovers, we ordered Kotthu with veg and egg. The worst Kotthu Iâve had in this country! Dry as *** and super super salty. I was so disappointed and left in the end hungry and with roughly 15000 rupee less. After weâve left the restaurant, wewent down the road to get something proper elsewhere...

I just can recommend the one World Hostel to everyone who wants to stay at arugam bay! Itâs the best place to be! Everything is very clean and the staff is amazing! They are so friendly and always very attentively! The location is just wonderful, a great garden gives space to relax really nice! Itâs not only close to the beach, itâs one of the closest hostels to babypoint, which makes the sunset and sunrise-surf incredibly easy. The yoga and meditation lessons are the best ones weâve ever had. In spite of everything, itâs really cheap to stay at their place. So if you go to arugam bay, just go to the one world hostel and have a great time!Hi Basti!Thank you for sharing your experience We feel blessed that you came to stay with us two times after returning again from Ella! We went here for lunch upon our arrival at A-bay, and ended up staying well after sundown. Itâs situated perfectly on the beach, and after a great meal (fried rice, devilled chicken extra spicy) we relaxed in the sun with a delicious iced coffee and went for a swim. At sundown we had a couple of smoothies and had a nice chat with the owners. Overall this place is small but has good food, and a great vibe!

Delicious food. Would highly recommend the seafood kottu! Good fresh bowls too. Best restaurant in arugumbay. High calibre of food and quality. Service impeccable and host was super friendly. The space itself is light and airy but secluded compared to the chaos of the main st. Our canteen, and many travellersâs one I guess. First the vibes is great the people working here or simple and friendly. Their food is great and tasty and they keep fair prices, what a rare gem in Arugam bay. The buffet is fantastic and the breakfast delicious with big quantity. You never leave with empty stomach. An advice donât look further and make it your canteen, supporting people who respect their customers and make a point to do quality food here is important too. We left earlier and could not say bye so I enjoy this review to say thanks to all the team for the nice job they are doing.

Go see the crew at Bambinis ! The service here is amazing, the food is awesome, they have a fantastic daily drink specials too ! We were a group of 6 friends and had a nice stay at this hotel, rooms are clean and staff is nice! If you eat at the restaurant for dinner, then I would recommend you to eat fresh fish!
