Tonight we had the pleasure of not dining at a well known local seafood restaurant....instead we had an amazingly memorable meal and experience at MEET. We chose the first session for many reason one being comfort and also anonymity. From our greeting from the bar staff to being seated even though we were early, we were made to feel welcome.. Andre greeted us and advised that the Churrasco option be starting shortly, and ensured we were comfortable....Luke our server was attentive but not intrusive...Then the food came in waves..succulent tasty and oh my goodness who knew chicken hearts were so nice. The feijoada warming authentic, house made bbq sauce flavour with a slight kick.... and then the pineapple arrived..... words fail me here. Overall our experience was one to remember. For a bit of background I and my husband are larger people which usually means we are judged if when we go out to eat, this is why we will generally go for early sessions to be in and out before crowds or staff can make a judgement. Tonight was one of the first times I ate out and from greeting to seating serving to end of the night I feel comfortable no judgement from staff or even other diners. This is such a rare occurrence to be treated like everyone else who was there tonight. I sat back and observed the staff at work, they were professional, observant without intruding (quietly getting a booster chair for a child without be obvious, explaining options, offering repeat dishes, no judgement how little or much was consumed .... I will be back...not sure why I took so long to get here. Andre and Luke thank you for an amazing night...

Once again Babbingtons did not disappoint great friendly staff, great menu variety. A godsend during my two week stay at the hotel! Scrumptious food definitely recommend this hidden gem on the central coast. Thankyou so much for your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed your dinning experience with us.

After opening in November 2011, Restaurant Mason received its first Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Award, One Chefâs Hat, in its first year. Since then it has gone from strength to strength maintaining its One Chefâs Hat for seven consecutive years
Five business colleagues for a Friday lunch and it was very good. In-house sourdough bread and butter to start set us up well.We all skipped entrees as we also had a dinner to attend that evening. 3 of us had the 36 hour beef rib, one had the barramundi fish of the day and the other had the pork belly. All excellent. We shared a dessert or two, and had a very good bottle of wine. Coffees to finish. And you know when the service is so spot on you donât even notice the presence of staff, this was our experience with Restaurant Mason.Superb.

Our aim is to provide simple pleasures - food that is handled with care, wine that fills the senses and service that is attentive and thoughtful.
I ordered vegetarian food which was just average. Nicely presented on the plate, and attractive to look at. However, there was no "wow" dish that stood out about the meal. It was over-priced for such a bland meal. Parking was not easy as it was on a main road.

A delightfully situated restaurant which serves amazingly excellent food. The chef/owner is French and his menu offers several tapas dishes and half a dozen each of entrees and mains. The oysters are only offered if they are of acceptable quality and the breads are great. The chefâs wife waits at tables with a wonderfully friendly and helpful manner and she knows the wines expertly. This place is an absolute gem.
