Feel-good hearty vegan street food in a small family owned diner right next to spectacular Peristil square.
I disagree with VeganHayleys review in September... Marta's Veggie Fusion is very allergy aware and anyone who has an allergy and does not tell the restauranteur before ordering is being irresponsible. Allergens like soya, mustard and gluten are written on the menus so easy to decide what to have, but staff are happy to advise on others. The place is great and Marta is very friendly and helpful. I explained what allergies I had and all the information was relayed back to the chefs and dishes I ordered checked as to suitability.I ordered falafel bowl with mix a la wok for my husband with a side of skin on fries to share. The food was faultless, very tasty, fresh and scrumptious and filling too. We ordered a tiramisu and lime cheesecake to take away as we were full after clearing our plates, packed separately as the cheesecake contained one of my allergens. The cakes eaten later sat on our balcony on our cruise ship with a cup of tea were fantastic.Marta's is a must visit place for all vegans and vegetarians in Split. Highly recommended.

Portofino is a Mediterranean restaurant offering wooden grill top quality steaks ,fine pastas and inovative fish dishes. With intimate and cozy envirioment, we are dedicated to offer prime service, carefully chosen local wines and tasty local dishes with
The food was so very good. We had the duck and the tuna, both served with seasonal veg. Whilst the portion sizes weren't huge, it was more akin to fine dining than your average restaurant. Therefore, 5 stars because the quality of food was so, so good. We even had some dessert, which is a rarity for us. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're happy to pay for good quality cuts of meat. A lady who was vegetarian on a table nearby said that her veggie dish was also excellent.

Trattoria Tavulin is small restaurant in Diocletian palace.
Great setting on a small square with comfortable outside seating.Very friendly staff and great service.Menu has something for everyone but not a huge selection which was helped us make our choices.Definitely worth the walk to get there and enjoy a pretty setting in the old town.

Nestled within the heart of the 4th Century Diocletian Palace is our newest location - Fig Split. Our focus was in creating a new and vibrant dining experience, but still in-keeping with our travel inspired food mantra - something a little different. And
Great place to have food in a cute little courtyard in the old town. Friendly staff and good food and drink! Definitely give it a go when you're in Split!

Coctail bar and a la carte restaurant serving Mediterranean and international cuisine on a terrace overlooking the sea.
Excellent food to start with. The staff was really friendly. The decoration was very meticulous and we love their choice of tableware and utensils. From arrival we were felt very welcome and they explained everything to us in very good English. Our individual entrees were excellent and the wine was superb! Each dish was incredible especially divine seafood. From two foodies visiting Eden, more than well recommended!

Join us at Gooshter Beach Club to socialize in a stylish atmosphere and to mingle with other world travellers and sun worshippers. This popular venue offers a unique mix of culture and cuisine from East and South. Gooshter, stemming from the Croatian word
We stopped here late afternoon and had sangria and nachos; stayed for a while and played cards. Great location for people watching and relaxing with a drink. The service was quick and friendly- drinks can be pricey- but worth it!

This is a buffet only restaurant. In the low tourist season, the restaurant is sometimes reserved in the evenings for large conference groups and bus tour guests, barring other guests and reducing the hotel's restaurant offerings. Evening buffets were unexceptional with poor main course selection and somewhat haphazard refreshing of the chaffing dish contents - eat early to be certain of your choice! Great vistas from the balcony area, particularly when watching the sun set over Split. Breakfasts were generally good with a wide buffet selection, but evening meals were disappointing. Unexceptional restaurant, and not consistent with the overall quality of the hotel.

With Mediterranean cuisine considered the healthiest, L'Aroma restaurant brings all the aromatic benefits of the Mediterranean and of Dalmatia to your plate. Let us prove to you that, as the Croatian saying goes, love really comes from the stomach and tha
We popped in because it was one of the few places serving food in April. The views and location are lovely and the server was very friendly. The food was very average. Did not seem like the freshest product, but good enough.

Life's a Beach Cocktail and Bistrobar Fresh grilled fish, fresh grilled Beefsteak variations (Beef-filet, Ramsteak, T-Bone), Heartwarming pasta dishes, Delicious salad variations and a lot of beautiful and delicious Cocktails with excellent Quality.
We turned up in a large group on the spur of the moment and they were extremely accommodating- moving tables, helping with separate ordering and billing for 5 families! A lovely setting where the kids can play on the beach if they finish while the adults eat at a more leisurely pace.

Our apartment in Split was only yards away and so it was inevitable that we would try this bistro. Our initial visit was for a late night plate of soup following our evening arrival, but first impressions were good and we returned for two evening meals during the course of our stay. The bistro is well established and has a good reputation. It specialises in Mexican food, but we stuck to the daily choices menu, enjoying dishes such as meatballs with mashed potatoes, local beef stew and seafood pasta - all very good.
