The first time I went to Locavore in 2016, I was blown away. The food was fresh and delicious, focusing on local ingredients. Plating of course was original and surprising. The meal felt fully composed and well-thought out. Forward to 2019 - I didn't feel the same sense of excitement or quality as I did 3 years ago (although the experience was still good). What was inspiring in 2016 now comes across as gimmicky. That said, I still had a good meal and the flavors were still there. Still a good choice for a nice meal in Ubud.

We went to this Restaurant while staying in Jl Bisma the food was amazing. Duck Raghu was so tasty. Service from Desak and Surya was excellent. Lovely treat after a long day touristing

We went to this restaurant as our son has coeliac disease and we thought it would be great to go somewhere where he could pick absolutely anything he wanted from the menu. As adults, the menu was lovely and we really enjoyed our meal here, however it isn't child friendly at all. My son just wants to be normal and have pizza or whatever like his friends. I feel this restaurant is more for people who are gluten free for lifestyle choices and want to be healthy, rather than for people, especially children, who have medical conditions and just want to eat the same food as everyone else. The restaurant itself is nice and a lovely relaxed setting.Just wish it had been more child friendly.Hello there!Thank you for choosing our restaurant and also for the feedback, appreciate it! The restaurant seems to be located within a nice hotel; the restaurant is at the front just behind its impressive infinity pool.The rating seems adequate as the main thing: the food was excellent! They have quite a variety between Western and Indonesian. We logically went for the local flavors. The satay dish as entrance was outstanding and so was my beef curry (dann remember the name) as main course. The meat was amazing.The only downside was that they didnât have quite a few dishes on the menu. Neither were they able to prepare all cocktails, i.e. shame as the description of the Bloody Mary was very tempting. Cocktails were ok but not outstanding; the wine we chose was neither on the list and we were suggested their most expensive instead (from Chile). I recommend not to take it as it was flat and mainly disappointing. The reason I am still giving 4 stars is the food and the fact the people serving were very kind. I picked this place because of its surroundings, while going down the road between green rice fields there was a restaurant. Why not make a stop there. To my unpleasant surprise this vas a vegan place. Well, why not give it a try. In the end I ended up eating a lot more than I needed. The food was so good, that despite being full I ordered more just to try what else they have to offer. It was amasing. For a meat lover like myself these are strong words. The girl that was tending to us was amaizingly cheerful and friendly. Great service. This place definitely deserves a visit. The food is great even for meat lovers, the green sorroundings bring a relaxing atmosphere and friendly stuff make it want to return again.

We visited this restaurant and we enjoyed it so much, that we reserved another night as well. This is the standard of a Michelin restaurant, and in such a convincing manner that we have not experienced a quality and standard as this, in the two times we have visited Bali. This is of European standard (very proud of our cuisine) and with the great sparkle of asian and indonesian taste and flavour. Absolutely perfect coocking and hosting - an impecable experience in any way. The surroundings were astonishing as well.If you have any interest in exellent food and wine, you have to visit this place. It is absolutely worth every rupiah and is an enjoyment of a lifetime!
