Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Restaurant was neat and tidy. Prices are moderate. Kind and friendly staff. I recommend this to everyone living/visiting Kandy, who is looking for a cheap and reasonable meal!!!!

The restaurant looks great, out and in. They've got this traditional Sri Lankan theme going on. The washrooms are very clean. They've got a great view of a stream at the back. The food however isn't for everyones liking. It's extremely traditional. Not something that everyone likes. It's very suitable for locals but not so much for tourists. I didn't enjoy the food.

One of the best restaurant in Kandy. Variety of meal choices are available for reasonable prices. The location is also good (easy to access). My niece really like their muffins.. Overall, a family friendly restaurant.

The best Rice & curry I ever had was at Mlesna Tea Fortress Restaurant. It had more than 7 dishes of curries accompanies with Steam Rice. Served with Pappadam & Chutney to add to the taste. Staff are really quick to serve and very helpful. An ideal stop over place when you are rushing towards Kandy for a good quick meal. If they can increase the seating it will be ideal.

This restaurant is set behind a house, but is quite well known because it's had some magazine coverage. We just ordered their curry and rice set (recommended by both our driver and the waiter) and you really do get a good selection of little bowls put on your table so you can try a variety of foods. It's good basic Sri Lankan food, though the spice is a bit tempered for tourists.

We went here for lunch on advice of our guide.We opted for the lunch buffet.There were many options for starters, soup, salad, bread, we had some salad which was good.From the buffet we had the rice with vegetables, good, and the red rice, which was too dry.One of the chicken dishes was a bit dry, as was the pork roast.All the other dishes like chicken curry, dahl curry, vegetables etc were very good and tasty.A good choice of deserts, fruits, cakes, mousses, etc. all very good.Friendly service. Nice view over the city from the terrace.The price of the buffet was 6,50 euro per person, including service and tax. A diet coke 2 euro.
