A contemporary styled, open sided, all day dining venue. Featuring easy dishes, nutritious and delicious COMO Shambhala cuisine including salads, energizing juices and blend rich in living enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
The surroundings are just beautiful, lush and green. A very peaceful serene setting There are many different ground levels so therefore many stairs. You need to negotiate many many stairs. It is definitely not a place for disabled or the physically challenged. There are no handrails along the stairs which makes it all the more difficult. The staff are very friendly and helpful in the restaurant. We went for the special menu that they always have but instead there was a special menu. After asking the waitress if it was possible to change she found it was possible. Nice food but didnât live up to expectations that my daughter had lead us to believe

It's a shame that this restaurant doesn't have its own link because although we didn't stay at the Alila (sadly) we enjoyed a truly memorable dinner and traditional dance show.We made a reservation but decided that we preferred to sit facing away from the stage, which did not prevent us from seeing most of the traditional dance shows.Let's not make a secret of the fact that it's high priced (even for Bali) and that it is super busy. We received mixed welcoming. The gentlemen who ushered us to the the manager was very friendly. The lady who received us was a bit arrogant, especially when we asked for a different table away from the din of the show and waitstaff moving around.Their drinks are fresh and quite delicious. The food was really well prepared and we always forget to tell the waiter to ask for full blown Indonesian cabe (hot peppers), so we always end up with very mild dishes. A little bit of chopped cabe is all that's needed. Our waitress was very sweet and explained each one of the dishes she served us.At the end of our dinner we watched a little bit of the show from the sidelines.Let's face it, since this hotel is away from the noise of Ubud, it retains a lovely rural atmoshphere. We enjoyed our meal, the setting and the show.Dear Reginafug,Thank you very much for your feedback and for sharing your experience with fellow TripAdvisor Users. We would have loved to have you staying with us. Also, thank you for the feedback on the lady that welcomed you, we sincerely apologize for making you feel this way. This is not what Alila stands for. While I am sure she was not having any bad intention, I have taken this feedback up to the team to ensure this will not repeat. We all would be most happy to welcome you back, may for your next stay in Ubud. Please let me know via email at [email protected] if your paths may bring you back to Plantation Restaurant and we will ensure you will experience Alila at its best.We appreciate the time you have taken to write this review about Alila Ubud's Restaurant and look forward to meeting you again.Kind regards,Martin and the Culinary Team
An exceptional menu of local Balinese and international cuisine. This delightful facility features a traditional Balinese pavilion overlooking the jungle. Free shuttle service available from Ubud Palace at specific times. Please call for times.
The food is wonderful! I'm back home and craving the pumpkin soup :-) The menu is very diverse featuring traditional Balinese food, vegetarian options, American food, etc... There are a variety of options and everything I tried was absolutely amazing! Some of the food is even picked fresh from onsite gardens. There were more than willing to accommodate specific dietary request. Quality, fresh food!

We visited this restaurant and we enjoyed it so much, that we reserved another night as well. This is the standard of a Michelin restaurant, and in such a convincing manner that we have not experienced a quality and standard as this, in the two times we have visited Bali. This is of European standard (very proud of our cuisine) and with the great sparkle of asian and indonesian taste and flavour. Absolutely perfect coocking and hosting - an impecable experience in any way. The surroundings were astonishing as well.If you have any interest in exellent food and wine, you have to visit this place. It is absolutely worth every rupiah and is an enjoyment of a lifetime! Kindest and most skilled staff you could wish for. Go and enjoy :-) You wonât regret.Dear Ditte,It is truly heartwarming to hear such positive feedback and thank you very much for visiting our Padi Fine Dinning and spend your valuable time with us. We do appreciate you enjoyed our standard as we have always been committed to continuously providing our guests with a memorable experience with genuinely warm hospitality and exceptional service. We hope your experience won't be the last and we will welcome you back again on your next visitBest Regards,Rai Arsana

The views, as many others have noted, are excellent here. Looking out past your table at the gardens and jungle don't get old. Our food arrived quickly, which was a plus as we were tight on time, and it was all quite good. The juices were delicious and worth their own mention. I'd definitely recommend it for a memorable experience.

I am someone who loves food. I go out of my way to eat at new restaurants, try new things, and literally plan vacations with places to eat in mind. Iâm sure Iâm not alone, but I take it very very seriously. That being said, I hope itâs not too dramatic to say that this is my favorite restaurant that I have ever eaten at. Hands down. The atmosphere, the staff, the food. All perfect! It was actually all chance that we ended up here and Iâm glad we did. We tried the Mie Goreng Tofu and the Nasi Campur Vegetarian. They were amazing. If youâre in the area then give it a try. You wonât be disappointed!
