This is a really interesting place, pub one side of the rod and restaurant for fish and chips the other... Opened by the Ol bastard, (its what the owner calls himself) its quirky, has a lovely little bar .. the staff are good fun and helpful.... great place to drop in for a drink and then go and get yourself superb fish and chips... Brilliant

I was staying in a self catering hotel around the corner so had seen this restaurant a few times during my stay and wanted to give it a try.Plenty of tables to pick from, staff very friendly. I had the Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg on Toast and my wife went with the Small Irish/English Breakfast. Plenty of food with both and quality of food & price seemed reasonable. The freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely too.Wifi was a bit hit or miss, sometimes I like to check emails, etc all in the morning and get them out of the way, but it did the trick.Overall we both were very happy with the food and service and would happily come back.

This was the best meal we have had in Portugal so far. The service was excellent and the wine recommendation also. Go, you deserve it (good value too). We had one fish main and an amazing vegetarian dish- so thoughtfully made and served.

Went here after reading previous good reviews, unfortunately very disappointed. Food was average but service not good. Once meal came we were never asked if food was to our liking and i had ordered a steak! plates were lifted no offer of desserts, coffee etc and restaurant was not busy. Would not visit again as many better places to visit in Lagos.Sorry to here you didn t got the attention like you diserve.We make all the food fresh ,hand and home made with full off passion.Give us a second chance :).Greetings Inge the Chef.

Actually location is the best because itâs away from the usual tourist crowd! Okay service, tip: remember enthusiasm makes the difference between mediocrity and greatness! But the food was very good! Beautiful dishes, I had a nice âsaladâ which was like a raw pasta dish of sweet patato and a sauce of peanuts. The goat cheese salad is also very good! And the Seitan dish had lovely patatoes. Desserts were also good! Alltogether very nice food!

We have been visiting cafe odeon since 2015 and canât praise it enough. Excellent food and drinks with very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money and we visited regularly during our holiday. If the cafe is busy and you canât wait, the pancakes and burgers to take away are incredible!!

We utilised TripAdvisor to find a nice restaurant the Avenida did not disappoint. We very much enjoyed our meal. The grouper cerviche was delicious. We also enjoyed prawns, chicken, black pork, octopus and langostines. It was beautfully prepared, presented and full of flavours. We went out for an early evening meal. The weather had just turned very hot so whereever we could have gone wouldâve been hot but they had an outdoor area which was lovely but unfortunately no air-conditioning but it was really nice to sit in the front of the restaurant. From a childâs perspective the food was nice, but not a big selection of food to choose from.I had the fish with chips, Dad had the rib and fries,Mum had the stone bass because it was the special of the day. The service was nice, several people obviously use it quite often is a nice restaurant and I deafly recommend going there again but if itâs really hot I need indoors where the air-conditioning is.Dear little man,Thank you very much for your review and glad you and your parents appreciated our food. Sorry for the air conditioning but it would be difficult to install on a terrace.
