We opted for the Chefâs Special with their choice of various dishes to share. Interesting and unusual combination, many of which were high quality & good to try a number of different dishes. We were charged for tap water which was a bit disappointing but I understand thatâs quite normal for Nürnberg. Very friendly & helpful staff. Price per head was â¬35 for food which was reasonable but not quite in the range suggested here. Would return.

The 1515 Rhinoceros is a new Brazilian Restaurant in Nürnberg St.Johannis - just opposite the famous graveyard where Albrecht Dürer found his last rest. He or better his famous rhinoceros gave the name.The location is cosy with a stylish twist. The two owners welcome their guests with a high level of attentiveness- one immediately feels home. The food is Brazilian with a local-franconian touch. A blend of traditional Brazilian ingredients with spices, herbs and presented very tastefully. The wine list covers predominantly local, French and Austrian wines - who prefers has the choice of local beers (NBG IPA definitely worth a try) too. An excellent evening. Great food, nice location and a service that not only is inspired by their own idea but also invests the time to explain and advise !

All you can eat buffet breakfast was very nice, great selection and quality of food. Service was very good. Big disappointment. The pictures looked amazing but the reality was different. Our server was very short tempered and border line rude. Not helpful at all and seemed bothered every time we asked a question. Two of the things I wanted were no longer absuelve ( yet still on the current menu ) My steak was a joke for 36 euros. Portions are tiny and you almost have to beg for everything. The only good thing was the pistacho créeme brûlée Other than that, big fat 0 1 star for the dessert and 1 star for the actual place. No wondering it was almost Emoryâs during the busiest week of the year. And trust me , I can forgive everything but the attitude from the waiter ? No. Never again Octopuses started had no flavor Tbt veal cheeks were also bland and tiny. The Risotto looked good .... never ever coming again

Close to our hotel and after a long tiring drive, needed a meal and a beer. Service was great, host and waitress were excellent and accommodating. Food included 2 orders of duck with dumplings, a veal schnitzel and a pork schnitzel. Ended it all with a shared apple strudel. Duck was nice and tender and tasty. Everyone was happy with their meals. You can sit inside or out.

Miss 13âs birthday celebrated while we were on holidays.4 courses, plus amuse bouche and sorbet and nibbles for â¬62 per head. Gorgeous food superbly plated. My favourite was the prawns on balsamic lentils, Miss 13 likes the smoked salmon tartare. Mr 62 liked it all!Good wine list.This was the highlight of our two weeks so far in Austria/Germany.

This restaurant is outstanding. Ten of us ate on the main floor on a Saturday night. Reservations are a must. The service was outstanding for such a large table. The atmosphere was classic. The appetizers and pork shoulder were outstanding. The desserts were very good. This is definitely a âwill returnâ restaurant.
