A delightful dining experience, especially for my VEGAN wife and daughter. Diverse and totally fresh menu, efficient and unobtrusive service. Kitchen more than willing to modify dishes for dietary preference and hyper-vigilant about allergies.Tip: street parking is scarce.

Recently re-tried the Roger Sherman Inn for dinner on a Saturday night and really enjoyed it! We ate in the bar room with live music that wasn't too loud (our table was right next to it), and our party of 4 all enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Will definitely be going back soon.

Don't expect attentive service at this small local eatery. Orders are taken at the register and you'll probably stand and wait while your food is prepared. Seating is at closely packed Cafe style tables.There's nothing exceptional about the food, but it's not a bad choice if you are planning to visit silvermine art center across the road. I agree with the reviewer who said the owner acts poorly to customers. He once admonished me for asking if there was any soup, since the soup season was over!!! (Who knew one can only eat soup in the dead of winter?)
