We had lunch here on a weekday afternoon. The four of us each chose a different entree; they were all very good, and fairly typical fare in a western-style Japanese restaurant. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared. What sets it off, though, is the soup, salad, bread, and beverage bar that comes with the meal. The salad produce was very good, with several dressing choices, the bread tasted like it was just out of the oven, and there was a good selection of non-carbonated beverages. Service was friendly and pleasant, and the dining room is quite attractive, overlooking the lake.

We visited Megami Lake in late March 2016. As it is a low season, most of the cafe and restaurants are closed. We drop in to Megamiko Station Restaurant to have a break. The decors are mostly DIY with tree branches and even hanging lights are made with leather.The food is standard but the service is warm. The lady owner also introduces us about her DIY works.
