Find out what International restaurants to try in Morro de Sao Paulo. Part of Morro de Sao Paulo’s charm is its mix of upscale, new hotels and restaurants with older, shabbier pousadas and taverns. Food and music good as in the old days. A restaurant standing on the sand, located on the first beach of Morro de São Paulo-BA.

We ate at the Vila dos Orixas three times (yes, we were feeling lazy and couldnât bring ourselves to leave this blissful place more than once!) On all three occasions, both the food and the service was excellent! Carlos, Irla and Rodrigo provided wonderful and considerate service with a smile. We shared a variety of starters (crabmeat, sautéed octopus, chicken nuggets) and loved all of them. We shared a paella one night. On another night I had the filet mignon and baked vegetables and my hubby had the Angus burger. We both loved the fact that my filet came on a cast-iron hotplate which allowed us to grill our own food to perfection (so much so that my hubby ordered the filet and chips again the following night). I also enjoyed the seafood fettuccine. The desserts were truly outstanding â especially the lava cake with homemade coconut ice-cream (Carlos remembered that we had loved it so much that he brought us a portion on the house on our last night â what a lovely gesture!) The Dolce de leite parfait was very pleasant, too, although it tasted a bit more like chocolate mousse. My hubby tried all the local beers (and recommends Eisenbahn Pilsner) and I enjoyed the ice-cold mojitos. Three times lucky must mean that the restaurant is consistently excellent and part of an overall wonderful chilling experience at the Vila dos Orixas. When settling the bill at check-out we were also positively surprised that none of our meals had cost more than £50. Breakfast at the restaurant was also very good and varied, with a nice spread, some absolutely excellent cakes (the carrot cake and toffee roulade were to die for) and eggs and crepes made to order. Would highly recommend!

Not the best around, but they deliver what they charge you for. Excellent service, good food (stick to grilled seafood), good pricing. Also, the DJ was a welcoming touch on a place riddled with bad music. A very good one also!

Fazendo Arte is gem and a must do while in Morro. Beautifully crafted, delicious and affordable food that anyone who visits Morro can't afford to miss. The restaurant is small, intimate and cozy, with great staff who take pride in what they're doing. I usually don't leave reviews, but my overall experience here was so incredible, I simply couldn't keep myself from sharing. If you're in Morro, do yourself a favor and eat here, you will not regret it.

Bossa Nova Bistro is the ideal place to enjoy a meal, tea time (with the traditional cheese bread), or a drink in a quiet setting and cozy ambient, with the best of Brazilian and international cuisine. Our menu carries the signature of Chef Georgio Rock ,
Got to this restaurant almost by accident, coming from a sunset at the mirante do farol. I had had a look for the best restaurants in the island on tripadvisor but this restaurant wasn't listed there, probably because of its lack of reviews in other languages (which is the reason I'm writing this one in English, more people should know about this place). We ordered spaghetti with shrimps and steak with mushrooms. The food took a little while to arrive, but the waitress was really sweet and came to our table often to remind us that it was taking a little longer than usual because the meals were all freshly made and I guess we were the first dinners of that evening. In the end, I had one of the best steaks I ever had (and I'm a steak lover) and my girlfriend was impressed with her shrimps. Also, the portions were quite big, expect to leave stuffed. But the best part is definitely the view. The restaurant is set on a big terrace facing the ocean, sitting on the slope between the port and the lighthouse. I almost regret going there after the sunset, as this is definitely one of the island's best spots to see it.I don't know if the staff speaks English and the menu was in Portuguese, but it's definitely worth a try. They don't offer "combo" options for two (at least for dinner) and they are a little pricier than the average on the island, expect to pay a little over 120 R$ for a meal for two.

For over 10 years we offer our custmers the sensation of experiencing the flavours of gastronomy made with art, which includes breakfast, snacks and dishes such as out traditional shrimp in the green coconut and the already consecrated Risottos.
Very nice place in Morro de São Paulo. Nice ambience. Agreeable, good coffe and light cakes. They went the very extra mile: my wife did not want regular milk. They produced coconut milk from scratch and made their first capuccino with it. Came out very very nice. So definitely would recommend. Will try dinner tonight
