You will find a combination of sandy and rocky beaches alternating with intriguing coves, and the climate is a sunny but temperate one. We were staying with friends and wanted a meal within easy walking distance, and were very pleasantly surprised. It is out of the town, and there is no view, but everything else was excellent. We had not booked, but were given a great welcome. The place is absolutely spotless and the food and wine were delicious. And the service was excellent. Our friends had not been to La Posada but they certainly will now.

We tried The Food Bar by Republic today for the first time, on the occasion of my wife's birthday. We have been regular visitors to several of this restaurant's close competitors such as La Cabana for several years. The most positive aspect of this outlet is the setting, which is superb. We were disappointed with today's meal experience. We ordered starters and main courses, aperitives and a bottle of rose wine. Of the four dishes, two were fairly well executed; two were poorly prepared. My wife ordered lobster which was very undercooked in parts. The meat in the claws was almost raw.Our bill for two was in excess of 110 euros. When we are paying approximately 55 euros per head, we do not expect to make repeated requests for the wine to be poured into empty glasses. The service was slow and unenthusiastic.Overall; a place to avoid.

This small restaurant has many things going for it in my opinion, starting off with Marc, the highly talented chef/owner who I consider the best chef in Moraira at the moment. We first dined here back in 2001 and have never had a bad experience in the seven years we have been going back. This is always the place we take friends who know a bit about food. There are only around 25 seats inside, which makes for a peaceful, environment accompanied by excellent attention and service. The majority of the clientele are either Belgium or Germans, who take their parental responsibilities a bit more seriously than the English tourists, so we know the evening will not be blighted by an badly behaved child running around the place while the parents are occupied with their smartphone instead of controlling their feral offspring. What I like most of all about Meli Melo however is the way they constantly change the menu to include seasonal specials, so there is always something new to try.

First visit after many years as we heard they didn't like children. Well that was incorrect. The food and staff were fantastic. We liked it so much we went back a 2nd time. No complaints. Will be back again sometime soon.

Bistro and wine bar tucked away in the heart of Moraira specialising in international gourmet tapas dishes made for sharing. Accompanied by fine wines, cocktails and specialist gins Cava is the perfect place for a relaxing evening.
We went to this restaurant based on reviews we had read on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It's a busy little restaurant so you do need to book. The location is not the best but the food more than makes up for that. It's run by an english couple and it is just the two of them. The chef is my opinion is exceptionally talented, the food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. We ordered 6 dishes in total which was plenty for 2 of us and left room for dessert! The tapas is slightly different to your standard tapas which made a lovely change. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and reasonably priced meal, we will definitely be back. Many thanks, we are glad you enjoyed your visit.
