overall rating: 3-1/2 starsYamaneko is a fun East Meets West informal dinner choice. Starters included some tasty mozzarella slices marinated with soy sauce and wasabi as well as a decent Caesar salad. The local sausage w/fries was savory, and the Thai green curry w/vegs was suitably spicy. Gnocchi filled w/local figs and gorgonzola cheese made for a rich ending. French cider added to the meal...but, sadly, a mediocre Chilean red wine brought no joy. How sad that any cafe (even one in wine-starved Japan) should pour such plonk. The overall atmosphere was casual, friendly, and upbeat. Service was decent. The tab for two bistro-style dinners was about ¥4000 excluding drinks.

しまなみ海道の大浜パーキングエリアのレストランです。窓からは因島から見える瀬戸内海が堪能できます。今回はタコの天ぷらうどんと鯛めしです。前泊したところよりも鯛めしが塩辛くなくて美味しい。いい感じにしまなみ海道を楽しめます。

しまなみ海道をサイクリングし、多々羅大橋と瀬戸田の中間地点にある瀬戸田サンセットビーチで休憩です。ビーチの前にひょっこりひょうたん島があります。瀬戸内海にはものすごい数の島があります。いい景色です。

テイクアウト用のソフトクリームは店内で食べられないとのこと店内用のソフトクリームを注文して店内で食べました572円はちょっと高いかな・・・と思いましたが水はセルフサービスでした眺めが良くてお客さんがほとんどいない店内は静かでゆっくりできました
