Metepec (Spanish: (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico and is located directly to the east of the state capital, Toluca, at an altitude of 2,635 metres (8,645 ft) above sea level. The centre of Mexico City lies some 50 km further to the east. The name Metepec comes from Náhuatl meaning hill of the maguey plants. However, it is also known in the Matlatzinca language as "Nepinta-Tuhi" meaning 'people of corn land' and in the Otomi language as "Ntaguada".

Fui con mi esposa a cenar, el lugar tiene una buena ubicación y la locación se encuentra bien ambientada, la cocina es buena, el servicio es bueno pero algo pasa en la carta de vinos ; están bien elegidos de acuerdo a los platillos de la carta pero los precios están por demás fuera de precios en una proporción de 3 a 1 al menos. El lugar debe revisar sus precios en cuanto a vinos se trata, definitivamente están fuera de la realidad. Creo que es un detalle muy importante porque esos aspectos hacen que uno no regrese y a la hora de elegir un vino te pone de mal humor y es lamentable que si uno está acostumbrado a tomar vino con los alimentos estar viendo la carta de estos y observando en donde el "sablazo" es menor.

We had a delicious dinner in Le Fou, with a "tarte" with tuna and a quiche with vegetables. The food is individually prepared, especially the bread is great, very European. The place is tiny with only 6 tables so very nice for a romantic dinner More expensive as Metepec normally but worth it.

This restaurant is inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel, very near Toluca airport. Went for breakfast and the buffet was great. Fruit, several Mexican dishes, and a grill station where eggs and hot cakes are made-to-order. There is another station that makes delicious quesadillas with a variety of ingredients, be sure to try them!

We came here for breakfast on a Monday morning and had the upstairs dining room to ourselves. Everything was great, from fresh made coffee and muffins to the beautifully presented breakfast dishes. The eggs benedict, while being a bit small, was delicious and uniquely presented. Service is attentive without crossing over into annoying. Highly recommended.
