This Mandarin place located in Markham, Ontario is one of the better all you can eat buffet restaurant in the area especially if you are hungry. This place has Chinese, Japanese, and Canadian food. They have a good selection of hot, cold and sweet desserts. They even have a full bar for variety of drinks. Services are so so.

We had a party of 5 adults and a baby in a high chair. The staff was very attentive in removing dirty dishes. The food was pretty well stocked, although there was a very large party with a ton of kids running around, so that made it not as nice as Iâm sure it usually is. The prices are high, but you do get a lot of different foods. The weekend dinner buffet includes prime rib, salmon, and lamb which was nice. It has lots of varieties of sushi and a number of Chinese dishes. The dessert selection was amazing so save room! Everything was tasty!

Attended a special family wedding anniversary with approx. 30 guests. It was held in a bar area/private party room in a building behind the main restaurant. The walkway between the 2 buildings was covered with canvas to protect patrons from the blustery weather. They began by serving sparkling wine and hors d'oeuvres (very tasty) in the bar area. Then guests were invited up a steep carpeted staircase to the dining room. Tables were nicely set and wine and water was offered until everyone was settled. Lots of choices on a pre-set menu, waiters took orders for appetizers, entrees and desserts all at the same time. The problem was with the temperature of the food, and I'm not sure whether that had to do with the trip from the kitchen - outside - thru the bar - up the stairs - to the tables. My entire entree (prime rib with mashed potatoes) was luke warm at best! My husband's salmon was warm but his rice was dry and vegetables barely warm. Others around our table also found their meals on the cool side. Staff were pleasant. I'm not sure whether this Bistro should offer private party dining for that number of guests especially this time of year.

top knotch service. servers and staff are very friendly, professional and offer a very welcoming environment. perfect atmosphere for a classy, fine dining experience, really great decor. food quality is very fresh and they have a great selection of wine to compliment, would definitely recommend the pizza and braised lamb.

We had an excellent time with impeccable service this morning at Symposium Markham. The service was delightful and management was great to work with. Anna was very helpful along with the other managers who created a custom menu for our event (baby shower). The food was delicious and the atmosphere was just perfect. Thank you again for making our experience a lovely one!
