When we arrived in Marburg, we were looking for a payable opportunity to have dinner. When entering the place, it seemed very quiet and we were a bit worried about the quality. We were, however, very wrong! A very nice place to have dinner! The service is very friendly and the food delicious!

We came here with a family of 3 generations and had a wonderful evening! Very good cocktails, delicious tapas and a lovely and quick service, despite the packed terrace.A place to recommend!

After we moved from the US to Germany we missed the great burgers we had back in the States. So we decided to take over an existing burger place in Marburg in September 2016. Eat premium burgers and vegan food made to order at our place and feel welcome.
Went there during the Marburg B(u)y Night and wasn't dissapointed at all. The cheese burger was delicious - nice bun, fresh veggies and a tasty patty. Also the fries and the coleslaw were very good! If you have any questions the nice staff helps you out! Also enjoyed the local craft beers.

Dined from the a la carte menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals(Beef Carpaccio and Entrecote of Veal). The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced for German wines. Foreign wines, especially the French, might be considered a little overpriced. The service was very good, attentive without being intrusive.

With spectacular views, picturesque below the Landgrave Castle and high above the historic university town lies the lovingly restored Bückingsgarten - the traditional restaurant in Marburg. The restaurant with its beer garden looks back on a long history.
It was a lovely evening so after a walk up to the castle, this was an easy choice. The menu was quite limited but the food was excellent. My Hereford steak and chips with Caesar salad was divine. The desserts menu was even more limited (2 choices) but the ice cream with red berries was very good. The service could have been quicker but I was in no particular hurry. Worth a visit if youâre up by the castle.
