Restaurant at the Sheridan Hotel.
We went with my husband for our wedding anniversary. They had a special night of traditional argentine cuisine. The waiter was excellent, very helpful and accomodating. The appetizer -a traditional empanada- was done very well. So it was a particularly unpleasant surprise when they brought the main course -meat- accompanied by pre-fabricated french fries. We both felt that in a 5 star hotel and with a special menu they would have taken the times to make their own fries. It really brought the taste of the food down.Another negative point was the live music that was also announced. As not too many people were at the restaurant, after just a few songs they just left! All in all, I would say do eat there if you are staying in the hotel, but if not, it might end up being not a very exciting place to spend your time.

Actually the restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver. We didn´t want to miss the opportunity to try sea food in this city. So we asked for a good restaurant. The service is very good, the waitress very friendly and patient. The decoration in the restaurant is great and the atmosphere also. The "cornalitos", squid rings and fish are delicious. Highly recommended!

It was so nice to walk into Tio and see the smiles and the warm greeting from Mayra, Marianna, Juan, Fegundo and Paulo. The coffee was tasty, the vegetable soup excellent, and the quiche had a very flaky crust. I needed to do some work on the computer and worked form Tio for several hours. The staff were attentive and there when I needed anything. I highly recommend Tio Curzio to anyone visiting Mar del Plata.

On entering this place, it was obvious that this was quite special!Staff were so friendly and pre-dinner drinks were offered.Menu standard, but with some different things.Food generally excellent, better than MDP normal. But, the rice which claimed to be a risotto which accompanied my seafood main course was a disastrous stodge! Did not complain, suggest the chef had lost interest for a couple of minutes, that is all it takes to ruin a risotto. But, all else was great! My Argentine friends loved this place very much.OT...I attempted to go outside for a cigarette, and the doorman told me to go upstairs where they had a smoking area!!! So I did..........5 stars for that!!!Can't wait to return later this year.

We were a party of 7 and we had an amazing dinner. The scalops and the chernia (A kind of bass) can be recomended. The wine list is not big, but has plenty of reasonable options. The cost in USD is low.

We were the first to arrived but we had to wait an hour and half to be served. We told them twice that the kids food should be served as soon itâs possible. But they didnt do it or cared. The Restaurent opens at 8:30pm so u can imagine how hungry the kids were.My sons pasta was very salted and we did mention it to the waiter. My plate was ok but also too much salt. Over all not an experience I care to repeat. Poor for the service.
