Reviews on International food in London, Ontario, Canada. You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

As luck would have it, my birthday fell on Earls "Margarita Monday". In addition, our family's Christmas gift(gift cards) provided additional incentive. We were impressed by their Happy Hour (3-6) offerings..pizza to steak/chicken combos were available for reduced rates. In short, we enjoyed good drinks and excellent food in generous portions. Kudos to the chef in supplying steaks cooked to the level we selected..very juicy. Our sides were hot and the mains presented in most appealing manner. We can't praise our server enough. When we entered the restaurant, she was largely on her own seating people and tending bar..she moved like the wind. My husband and I really appreciated her efforts to make our dinning experience a successful one..you can't beat good staff.

We have eaten at Mandarin restaurants before and have found the quality continually slipping This is the first visit to this location Our first impression was good.Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was nothing short of terrible. The sushi was tasteless and not fresh. No more roast beef at the carving station ,just corned beef. Most items were at room temperature .No more crab salad or salmon. It appears all of the premium items are no longer served leaving us with cheap reheated rubbish. And the prices have continuously been bumped up This will be our last visit here

We went to BT to celebrate a birthday. It also happened to be Londonlicious (Iâm not a fan). Anyway, one of us ordered the steak (on the Londonlicious menu) and another person ordered the tenderloin (off the regular menu. We were told we couldnât do any substitutions. Fine. However, I asked if we could simply swap the meats on the plates since my son wanted the fries that came with the steak and I was fine with having the potatoes. We were told in no uncertain terms that the kitchen couldnât put the meats with the sides not part of the meal as stated in the menu. Ridiculous! Our calamari (the only reason I wanted to come to this restaurantâthey make a lovely grilled calamari) wasnât put into the POS system and we had to complain about it. After all the apps at the table were finished my calamari arrived. It come out in 5-mins of my complaint and I think the speed really affected the quality of the dish. It was sadly lack lustre. It needed more seasoning. By this point, I was so annoyed I couldnât be bother to complain. Clearly, the standards had slipped since my last visit a couple of months earlier. The real disappointment of the meal was the steak. My son want medium well. It came to the table charred. Yet, when it was cut, it was seriously under cooked. We had to send back the steak to be cooked more.Overall, the meal was so disappointing that we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. Sadly, we wonât be visiting again anytime soon.

The mansion which houses Villa Cornelia was built in 1892 by Alfred M. Smart, a prominent businessman and President of Ontario Loan and Debenture. The house ranks among London's finest examples of Queen Anne architecture. It was meticulously restored to i
We joined family to enjoy a celebration meal together. My pasta with chicken was quite tasty, but I would have enjoyed a vegetable alongside, besides three strips of red pepper. My husband quite enjoyed his beef tenderloin with fingerling potatoes, shiitake sauce and a couple of green beans. Several others had the same beef order and found it very much to their liking. We are vegetable enthusiasts so felt a little short changed in that department! The sous vide ribs were a huge serving, and others enjoyed sampling those! We had pleasant attentive servers. The duck was also a hit, as were the scallop appetizers, and salad. The very small hot rolls and butter were lovely, but certainly not a generous portion. Crime brûlée was enjoyed by several in our group and the strawberry cheesecake was given high approval. Prices were rather high for the portion size, but the food was good.

A great mix of cuisine from all over the world. Fantastic menu!
I have been here for lunch many times, the meals have been excellent. I have had their salmon, burger, french dip, chicken sandwich, tacos, and pasta dishes. I have not been disappointed once. Staff is lovely.

Mandarin Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. Come experience their casual ambiance. They offer a buffet option. You can get there by car and public transit. They are positioned in an area packed with parks and restaurants.
We visited during the Moon Festival. The room to which we were assigned was full of bright pink lanterns- very festive!I love the Mandarin salad bar but, for this occasion, they had added some new tasty dishes to other areas of the buffet. The butternut squash soup was incredibly delicious- I would like to see it as a regular item. The ginger glazed chicken was also good. The roast duck was a little dry. The regular charcoal grilled steak was especially tender and tasty that evening.Another feature was pumpkin pie - you could get extra whipped cream by visiting the waffle bar! I found the pie strong on spice - I preferred the rich creamy pecan! They have a huge dessert assortment including ice cream and fresh fruit.Service by Luke was attentive. I like the idea of hot towels both before and after your meal. Dishes were quickly cleared while we were away from the table.Senior discounts make this buffet quite affordable and there is SO much choice!

Internationally & seasonally inspired cuisine with a modern flair. Made using the freshest local ingredients.
Had dinner at this establishment while on business trip in London. Had the pickerel fish. Fish was very tasty, maybe a bit too much ginger added to the meal. Overall it was good but I probably wouldnât order it a second time. Wine prices were a bit high for the quality of wine offered. Thank you for joining us for dinner. We're sad to hear the ginger portion of the dish didn't meet your standards this time, we're very proud to be sourcing it locally from Loco Fields Farm. We try to have a broad range of Wine options for all budgets. Hope we can have you back next time you come to town!

Welcome to The Tasting Room located 2 doors from the Grand Theatre in the heart of Downtown London. The Tasting Room is both a bar and great restaurant. The ambiance is warm, casual and yet up scale. Lunch and dinner are served daily, while the extensive
It's always a pleasure to dine at a locally owned establishment that's maintained a strong reputation over the years. The Tasting Room's old favorites and newer dishes are fantastic. I had the seafood pasta combo with Pernod sauce, which is definitely worth ordering again. The service is friendly, professional, and attentive, unlike a lot of newer places with less experienced staff. The prices are quite reasonable. This is becoming a regular fixture on our calendar.

We went to Waldoâs to celebrate our anniversary. My husband had lamb and I had salmon teriyaki. Meals were fabulous as always. Holly our server was terrific and she surprised us with an offer of complementary desserts. We were so touched by this I must say. Waldoâs is one of our âgo-toâ places for lunch and dinner. Meals are consistently great and service is as well. Thanks so much!

Just got back from a very disappointing visit to this restaurant. I live in the neighbourhood so had high hopes. They have all the right ingredients for a super restaurant...great location, outdoor patio, lots of foot traffic but once we entered it was so so disappointing. The place was not busy but we had to wait for a server to seat us, then wait and wait for a cup of coffee. We actually approached a server and the manager about the wait but still had to wait. I had plenty of time to observe the workings of the place. The servers were busy but Tony the General Manager needs to get off his phone, get off his favourite seat at the bar and actually work with his staff instead of lifting his head from his phone and giving directions by pointing a finger.By the way Tony, i know where you hide your phone.
