We flew into Martinique on Saturday via Norwegian Air. The flight lands quite late and by the time we got a rental car, found our way to our Villa, dropped off our bags and went searching for a restaurant, it was almost 9:00. We saw the lights for Mumu and wandered in and were welcomed with open arms.Our waitress, Marie, was so pleasant and patient! The food was tasty and eclectic--some French, some Creole, some Vietnamese. Wine is sold by the bottle or by the carafe. Both the red wine and rose wine in the carafe were quite tasty. I heartily recommend this restaurant if you are staying in Le Diamont for good food, friendly service and good wine.

We walked in at 7.30, the only people in the restaurant and my husband was itching to leave but so glad we didn't. Excellent excellent dinner. I had lamb, the husband had risotto and daughter had vegetarian option, sides were local vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The chef is very talented. When we left at 9.30, several couples had joined us. Dessert was artisanal ice-cream (coconut and basil were superb), creme brulee and profiterole. All fabulous. Small wine list but good and overall value for money considering how great the food was. The service was also highly attentive with a charming young man from Colombia. Don't miss this place, well worth the detour.

We went there on our last evening because of the good reviews. it has only four tables and without tripadvisor we wouldn't have found it.we weren't disappointet.we were the only guests.the chef was very friendly and explained everything to us.Our menu was delicous and we loved every course.especially âfondant chocolateâwas the best we had in our live.if it haven't been our last day,we would have retourned. We had hiked on the mountain for 3 hours. We were thirsty.We went to the Snack au pied du morne champagne for some drinks.We sat near a table. We had a view on the beach.The drink was really good.Worthwhile to try!
