Classy, original. Exceptional. Too many good things to mention them all. Give it a try. The dishes are beautifully presented. Thereâs a 7 course menu. The food is modern Spanish cuisine at its best. Friendly helpful service, very comfortable chairs, great wine list. Definitely going back

It's an up and coming bar. I came with my girlfriend and a few of my friends for a coffee and the waiter serving us was so friendly that we decided to stay for a few beers and some soft drinks (free tapa of our choice with each drink! ). We also ordered a burger which was recommended by our star waiter and it was delicious, if you fancy a homemade ox-burger then this is the place to come. He informed us that for lunchtime there is more selection of food in general, tapas available at dinnertime also (burgers, Thai curry, an amazing beef and ale pie, excellent mini hamburgers and more!). One of the most important points is that you can try the tapas for free and if you really enjoy them you can order them as a ration.In conclusion, friendly staff, good food and a very chill environment. I'm definitely coming back again!! Thank you!

Me and my partner were looking for a place in Nerja to have dinner and luckily found this lovely restaurant. The service staff gave us a welcoming feeling as soon as we stepped in. The foods menu has something for everyone from Steak to vegan burgers. I had a vegan cheesecake and I would take it over a real cheesecake every single time.Thanks for the great dinner, we will be back soon âºï¸âºï¸Thanks Reiseprofilzum!It was nice to have you both with us yesterday and contribute to create a nice vibe over this amazing place. Last night we tried Tartana Playa for the first time, mainly because we were always impressed with Marks cooking and presentation when he owned Los Laurels.,We were not disappointed, tasty beautifully presented food , excellent and professional, waiter service, very good value for money ....... Tartana Playa restaurant is in a delightful spot right opposite the beach ., the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, to me this is now the number 1 place to eat in La Herradura, Well done Mark......

La Gaviota has been modernized on the outside, and the location is still good. But we went there for the essentials, namely good food and good service. Both seems to have been forgotten. We were served lukewarm and mediocre dishes by a very slow and unattentive woman. They must improve their act substantially before we go there again

First night back in La Herradura and we wanted something quick, cheap and cheerful, Venezia met these criteria perfectly. Friendly service, good value, pleasant ambience. The food was nothing exceptional; indeed the salad was a touch disappointing (tinned ingredients rather than fresh) but the pizza was large and tasty. All in all, not bad and probably deserving of a three-and-a-half grading!

We last visited this restaurant when they were still in their old premises, and were pleased to see that they have been able to expand their menu after moving. Service was still extremely efficient and pleasant, and we were brought very tasty tapas whilst waiting for our food to be served. Two of us had burgers (very good, and huuuuge, with great chunky chips) and the other two had paninis served with lovely fresh salad and patatas bravas, making it a substantial meal. My only disappointment was that they were out of lemon drizzle cake on this occasion (I remembered how good it was from our last visit) so I had to settle for Bailey's cheesecake instead. Hard life but somebody's got to do it! Congratulations to the owners and their family for being able to maintain their high standards for so long, may they continue to prosper.Thank you for your very kind review. As a business thats been serving people in Almunecar for over 18 years its great to hear that our customers are still enjoying what we are serving. Sorry about the Lemon drizzle, we cant keep up with the demand even after all this time.Hopefully next time you will get a slice....Thanks again.

We have a villa in LH and Dis Tinto was a regular âwatering holeâ for us - however, their management let the standards slip and I submitted a suitably critical review. We called in today and boy, what a change for the better - the restaurant has been cleaned up immeasurably, service was excellent (particularly from the fabulously friendly and professional Jose-Louis) and food fabulous. We had the Basque Txchuleta (steak) which is self-cooked on a hot plate brought to the table - Dis Tinto have, thankfully, replaced the wholly inadequate pottery hot plates with a cast-iron equivalent, which are much better and retain the heat much longer. We will re-add Dis Tinto to our LH restaurant bucket list, as the restaurant is once again superb Thanks for your opinion

Have had the three course lunch menu here several times. Always satisfied. Good alternatives to choose from. Made with attention to detail and a personal twist. Modern cuisine with Mediterranean and international influences. Good wines. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Nice and classy feel terrace with bay view. Not the cheapest place, but worth the money, I think.
